Cricket Heroes - testing & feedback

@Meet: That's very odd - it works for hedger and I've tried it on a few computers now and it seems to work...have you changed anything on your PC?

Another strong 10 over period, scoring 34 runs to move onto 66/0. Both batsman have hit 5 boundaries, with Katich 38* off 60 and Watson 28* off 60.

Bowling figures:

Ryan Sidebottom - 6-1-15-0
James Anderson - 5-0-18-0
Tim Bresnan - 4-0-12-0
Ian Bell - 5-0-21-0 (Why is he bowling before Collingwood or Swann)

Spiders: (tbh, I wouldn't worry about the elevation as I can see what you are trying to do. Maybe only do the elevation thing with sixes.

Watson:

----------

Also I would have a different colour for 3's. I reckon green should be 3 and you shouldn't worry about 5's.

----------

Um, Swann is bowling his third over in a row now. A bug that needs fixing. And Watson hit Swann for 16 runs (1 six, 2 fours and 1 two) in his last over just because I felt like smashing the ball out of the park.

----------

Well I feel like doing some slogging so I'm going to play a T20 and bat first.

Decided to play a slog with AUS v SAF, lost the toss and they chose to bat so I changed teams to South Africa and made 133/7 from our 10 overs before the game crashed. AB was our best bat making 60 off 20 balls. The game crashed though after that.

Hussey, you legend. 6 sixes in an over. Kallis should be ashamed of himself. Not even in the powerplay as well. Could even make 250 from my 10 overs, currently 175/1 after 7 overs. This is on pro as well.

Scorecard:

S Katich 105* (26) - 12 4's, 9 6's, SR 403
S Watson 4 (2) - 1 4, SR 200
M Hussey 66* (14) - 4 4's, 8 6's, SR 471

----------

Finished 260/3, after a couple of not the best overs at the end even though I scored 36 runs again off the 18th over. Let's see if I can chase it down now. :p

@hedger: Haha, yup - the boundaries are brought in a *loooong* way for 10 over slogs. It should theoretically be possible to get somewhere close to 360.

EDIT: The slog mode was supposed to be my homage to the Hong Kong Sixes :)

Hey everyone,

I'm finalising the next update - you can see what I've done so far in the 1st post. In future I will be giving a preliminary change log *before* releasing in the 1st post, highlighted in red. If there's anything you disagree with or feel should be added (please take into account time constraints - I have a full-time job), please either post it here or PM me.

Cheers
Kurt

Not to mention I was playing at Bourda which is 62 by 60 metres :p

----------

All looks good, just so you know I currently have the field settings on simple but it keeps changing anyway for each bowler and stuff.

I am not able to play :facepalm

I am facing difficulties in controls.

Any easy help Hedger? You have scored 260 in 10 over!!

haha, play the game a lot and you get the hang of it. Well as you can see in my spiders, I hit my sixes over square leg, third man, mid wicket and cover. Normally if it's short and straight, I play a backfoot lofted hook shot (E for right handers, Q for left handers) which normally goes over square leg, if it's short and even slightly wide, then uppercut (Q for right handers, E for left handers) but don't loft and it will normally sail over the ropes (provided the boundaries aren't 80+ metres). If it's full on the stumps, play a lofted on drive which will normally either just carry over the rope or bounce just before it, if it's outside the offstump and full, then play a lofted cover drive. Where they end up really depends on your timing. If there's any specific ball you have trouble playing, then just ask.

Hey guys! This is shaping up to be a great game. Kudos to you!

I have found one issue which might not be much of a concern but just thought would let you know. Dunno if you guys have encountered this.

OS: Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 8800GT
Resolution: 1280x720 (32 bit)

Bug: Graphics all around the screen are either corrupted or become pure black and white

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Cricket Heroes
2. Go to Display options (initially the display is just a small window, the default settings)
3. Change the resolution and go to full screen

Hope this helps!
