Yes.....my sense says it has something to do with net framework....win8 comes with 4.5....do I need to downlaod other files?

Yup, I'm working on a solution for the lag problem. I've isolated the problem to the shadow rendering. I've added a simple shadows mode which draws blobs instead of accurate ones and can confirm that it's MUCH faster.

Wrt to editing the rosters and such, the only way to currently do it is through the team & roster editors. There IS another way, though - you can edit the rosters.csv and teams.csv files directly in the import folder, although I wouldn't recommend this route

Thanks Yeah, I wish I could do something about the graphics, but I don't have the funds and I can't get in contact with the guys from TAOC. I'm toying with the idea of doing a Kickstarter for a DLC pack, but first I need to generate some funds for that :P

Well I be Don Bradman's sock basket....after a day of f-king around I seem to have got it working. Have kicked my Win 8 and gone back to win 7. Seems to be working........

If you're seeing sluggish performance, go to Options -> Video and set Shadows to Low.

Changelog:

- added weight attribute
- updated roster editor to include height & weight fields
- weight/height ratio now affects field speed & pitch running speed
- removed context buttons during action
- added Simulation option in menu
- added multiple levels of shadow detail in graphics menu
- added Height/Weight to Physique menu in career mode
- players grow as they age (up to 21yr)
- fixed team kit colours in career mode
- fixed stats on cumulative stats screen
- added deterioration field to venue editor
- tweaked pitch deterioration
- adjusted fielding for close-in fielders

Hi Kurt when selecting the option of setting the A team in a custom tournament game the game froze......dont know what that means but thought I would tell you! Otherwise having good fun getting to understand how the game works etcetera!

RE deterioration, is that just in terms of spin/bounce etc or is it actually visible as well?
