What do you mean by realistic? Cause NSW getting bowled out for 139 with all their Internationals is very unrealistic.

About the players in the sides, normally the main International players don't play much cricket for their domestic team. Watson has barely played a game for NSW since joining a couple of seasons ago cause he's been on International duty all the time. What you decide to do with that though is your problem

@hedger: That's a very good point - I'm not sure how to deal with internationals not playing for their state sides...any ideas?

EDIT: Also keep in mind, that even though there were lots of internationals in the team, it's still entirely possible for the batting to collapse. If you look at their 2nd innings - NSW scored 424

Well you could either get rid of the main International players from their teams (like Watson, Katich, Ponting, Hussey, Clarke, Haddin, Bollinger) or I think the better thing to do is let it up to us to choose our own and their team so if you want to have a realistic tournament, you can decide what team they will play and choose your team with no internationals in it.

And btw, I *will* finish the Lions team tonight which will mean the South African domestic teams done. Another 10 players to go or so.

I've decided that once you release the next update, I'll start working on the next nation and aim for one country done for every new release you make provided you don't go crazy with the updates

And yeah, it is but I find it very unlikely to happen. As long as it doesn't happen that often, I will be fine.

@hedger: Excellent, one nation per update. Sounds good. I think I'm going to keep the updates at 1-2 weeks. That'll give me enough time to fix things up properly.

Regarding the internationals, what if when you select the league you want to play, you're presented with a screen that lets you select the available players for each team? This way it's a once off deal...

hmm, fair enough. Normally I'd still like to choose the opposing squad though.

Done the South African teams finally. Here is the excel spreadsheet so far. The spreadsheet was too big to upload on PC (100 kb ) so I put it in a .rar file so I can upload an extra 40 mb plus now it's only 30 odd kb.

@hedger: Excellent work! I'm going to import that file now. These extra players and teams are a HUGE help during testing Now if only the SA domestic league didn't have such a convoluted points system...

btw, what are you doing with the Ryobi One Day Cup in Australia?

yes, lol. With 6 states and 6 teams in each competition, it's pretty likely that they will play in all tournaments.
