Cricket Heroes - testing & feedback

@hedger: Yup, that's what I've been testing for the last few days - it's a mission to get everything balanced just right.

----------

@Aussie Team: You can play a demo version without a key - I've done it this way so that the full, free version will have as few bugs as possible. If you have time to spare and can give regular feedback, you might be considered for a beta tester position.

@hedger: I can't tell you how cool it is to see my favourite domestic team (Cape Cobras) pulling off a serious rearguard against title favourites, the Titans :)

The Cobras needed to bat out about 60 overs, but found themselves in trouble at 2/2 after 1 over in their last dig. At 6/144 it seemed like it was game over, but Richard Levi and the lower order hung around to save the match :)

haha at AB's century. What a great bat he is. And I want to play with the new domestic teams :( :p

----------

with the domestic leagues for South Africa and Australia, are you going to have the other competitions as well in the next update or not?

And you need to fix the fielding editor. It always wants to change my field or not save my field regardless of the actual field settings (Simple, Intermediate, Advanced)

And on the credits, you have just said domestic rosters on mine, considering I'm doing all the database so you should just say the player/team database or something like that. Not that it matters much anyway :p

@hedger: Hehe, he got after Robbie P - I think he went for 5 an over in that 1st inning. I'm just fixing up the scoring system for domestic games quickly (you can input formulas now to calculate it <- thank our Supersport series for this cludge) and then I should be able to release a new version. The referral system still isn't in place though...

----------

@hedger: I should be able to include the other competitions - I'm just not sure how long it's going to take to implement the new 40 over format in Australia though...that one might not make it into the next update.

Also, once the domestic scoring is finished I'll see what's up with the field editor. Still not sure why it's not working :/

And I'll update the credits on the 1st page now :)

Meh, it can wait, I guess. So when will the next version be released and when will the referral system be released? Approximate dates are fine. :)

@hedger: Hmmm, I hope to have everything completed by next Friday:

- new 40 over format in Australia
- traditional 40 over format
- all domestic tournaments in South Africa and Australia
- referral system for snicks and lbws
- 100% working field editor
- bug fixes :P

Gonna send you a PM in a minute...

Cheers
Kurt

Shame that it doesn't currently work on 64-bit machines. I've been following this closely and progress seems pretty good.

I was playing this game yesterday and I was quite enjoying it. I'll give a detailed review later when I play a few more matches. Keep up the good work guys. :)

@Iridium: I'm still trying to get hold of a PC with Win64 installed...

@Aditya: Thanks for the kind words, there's still *lots* to be done on the game before it's properly ready for mass public consumption. Feel free to make suggestions :)

@hedger: It's going OK I guess. Haven't had much time to work on it this weekend. Balancing the simulation is almost done. Then I need to try to add the split-innings ODIs. Once that's done, I can add the other domestic tournaments for Aus/RSA. When *that's* done, I need to add the referral system.
