@Chewie: Have you tried running the app in administrator mode? (I'm clutching at straws here)

----------

EDIT: New idea - have you installed drivers for your graphics card? The game requires OpenGL to run.

Yes I've tried running it in administrative mode.

Yes I presume drivers would have been installed when I installed all the virtualise stuff. I can run other games fine (iirc)

hmmm it appears not. Normally I just use it to run cricsim. Not sure whether I can run 3d stuff in parallels

@Chewie: Crap, I don't think it's going to work then. Does parallels not support OpenGL?

@hedger: Cool, the simulation will be quite a bit faster in the next update. If there's enough issues resolved before the end of today, I'll upload again.

Here we go.

1. Tim Paine+
2. Mark Cosgrove
3. Ed Cowan
4. George Bailey*
5. Travis Birt
6. Rhett Lockyear
7. Luke Butterworth
8. Jason Krejza
9. Brett Geeves
10. Ben Hilfenhaus
11. Xavier Doherty

Victoria:

1. Aaron Finch
2. Brad Hodge
3. Matthew Wade
4. David Hussey
5. Rob Quiney
6. Andrew McDonald
7. Glenn Maxwell
8. John Hastings
9. Clint McKay
10. Dirk Nannes
11. Jon Holland

Toss:

Victoria won the toss and elected to bat first

----------

Well Hilfenhaus has delivered a peach of a delivery first ball which has caught a thin edge and Paine did the rest, Finch out for a golden duck. Beautiful outswinger though.

----------

Well the game crashed after the end of the first over now.

----------

Batting still seems to work fine though.

Not sure if it does or not. I could try run it through wine but I've forgotten how I did that for ICC.

@Chewie: It should work under Wine - I think one of the guys on the forums managed to get it running.

@hedger: Meh, I keep thinking I've fixed the majority of bugs when another one pops up. What happened the ball before it crashed? Also, if it happens again can you click on More Details and then post a screenshot here please? I haven't been able to get it to crash at the end of an over yet :/

Wine works slightly different on macs to linux

Okay this is embarrassing and all but hey here's the bug report:

1. Graphics set to full and resolution 1280 x 720
2. Begin a twenty 20 exhibition match.
3. India(User) and Pakistan(CPU)
4. The Oval as the ground
5. Both teams auto selection
6. Win the toss (somehow :p)
7. Opt to bat and uhh......*cough* become all out without scoring a run (Yes I know I'm bad at batting :| )
8. Bowl a wide and let the opponent win (those meddling kids :()
9. In the final match summary screen, I'm not able to mouse the mouse cursor much and it sort of seems to keep shaking too much for some reason.

I had to press the escape key or so to get out to the main menu. The good little mouse cursor didn't want to go anywhere. :p

This was on Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit) by the way.

EDIT: If it makes a difference, I set the sound to 100% after losing 5 wickets and yes it was 0/5 you don't need to ask.

Disclaimer: Ignore the uber bad score or you shall face the same! :spy

Well when I looked at the controls page for a couple of times it had keyboard controls. And wait.....!

Now that you mention it, I used the mouse to bowl. Maybe that's the problem?

@Saiyaman: It's a bug :P Do you prefer the mouse control for bowling over the keyboard? Because if not, I'm going to remove mouse control for now as it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. I need to rethink it...

@Chewie: Ugh, as long as you have OpenGL support in Wine on Mac you should be OK...I think...

haha don't worry about it. I'll get it working one day
