@Chewie: Is that with patch 18? That's very odd. Can you give me a breakdown of the folders that were extracted from the update? And how many files are in each folder please?

You aren't running Win Vista/7 64bit are you?

I tried update 13 before and it didn't work

@Chewie: That's not a good sign then - if you're running 64bit Windows it probably won't work. I haven't figured out yet why it doesn't run under 64bit. Must be some kind of dll problem.

Nah it's 32-bit Windows 7 running in Parallels Desktop on Snow Leopard OSX 10.6.6

@Chewie: Can you do me a favour please? Apparently in Win7 you can open the Event Viewer and then navigate to Application and Services Logs and then find Cricket Heroes. If you could send me a screenshot of that screen it might help me to diagnose the problem and get you up and running.
