Well I'll be perfectly happy with the bowling on the keyboard. Do as you wish! :D

Hi guys,

update 19 is up - it's only hosted externally at the moment though. My internet connection is acting up again :/

Cheers
Kurt

The simulation speed is much faster now :thumbs

----------

Ok, won the toss and elected to bat.

----------

Cosgrove falls after making a quick 19 off 16 balls, as he hooks McKay right down the throat of Hodge at deep square leg.

----------

Tasmania fought back well though after 2 quick wickets to be 106/2 at the break, Cowan 43* off 49 and Bailey 34* off 47.

I don't like playing on the legside, I get myself out too often.

----------

And Hilfy has got Finch yet again with an outswinger. Great bowling and Finch is out for a duck.

----------

Doherty will open from the other end with his offspinners.

----------

lol, they are 28/1 after 6.1 overs with 7 boundaries. And I started off with 3 maidens as well.

They made 136/3 from their 20 overs, Geeves making a late breakthrough to get rid of Wade.

And the game crashed again when I clicked on Next to go to my second innings.

Hey guys,

is there any way someone can send me a save game of a Ryobi cup where the computer is finishing up it's 1st inning (i.e. just before you start your 2nd inning)? I'm at work at the moment and can't play the game (I can still debug it though :spy).

Cheers
Kurt

My games won't let me save in the middle of a game anyway. Like I'll press save and then quit my game and then when I load it up again, it goes back to the tournament screen at the next game so it's like the game's been skipped.

@hedger: That's very weird - does it happen no matter at which point you save? I tested it now playing a Ryobi Cup in my 1st inning and it loads OK...could you send me 1 of those save files so I can see what's wrong with it?

Ok, just wait a sec.

Hmm, I think there are a few too many scores in the 90s. I skipped a Sheffield Shield game and there were 5 scores in the 90's in the first 2 innings and another 2 80's and an unbeaten 79.

tweaking my internet connection is pretty unstable currently and is giving me low speeds.. Cannot download any of the updates and post.. Dying to try the new update

Probably should have been converted into 100's. You find the total scores are pretty realistic varying from around 300 to 480 but then when you look at the individual scores, you have the tail scoring ducks and low scores (below 10), the all-rounders score probably around 20, you find there's a fair few fifties and a very low score so a scorecard in the game would probably look something like this most of the time.

Player 1 - 73
Player 2 - 26
Player 3 - 89
Player 4 - 94
Player 5 - 2
Player 6 - 53
Player 7 - 31*
Player 8 - 6
Player 9 - 0
Player 10 - 2
Player 11 - 1

And there's normally probably around 15 extras, although I'd probably be making that number up.

And actually, I think it's fine. I just tried saving a game and reloading it and it worked fine. It just didn't happen once so I assumed that would happen all the time.

Ok, next simulation.

Katich and Watson both score in the 80s and get out, Clarke got out for 14, Smith made a duck, Khawaja got out for 95, Henriques got out for 43, Haddin actually finished on 123* (but he's hit 2 centuries in 2 innings now) and finally a bowler made some runs, with Hauritz making 36* with NSW making 484/6 dec. and there was only 2 extras. So the scorecard looked like this:

Watson 88
Katich 83
Khawaja 95
Clarke 14
Smith 0
Haddin 123
Henriques 43
Hauritz 36*
Bollinger DNB
Lee DNB
Clark DNB

So you didn't see Bollinger, Lee and Clark get out for ducks but pretty much as I said.

@hedger: Cool, I think I'll play around with the sim to see what I can come up with. Would it be safe to say that player 4 should have made a 100 and the tail should have scored a few more runs?
