Cricket Heroes - testing & feedback

My first few matches were not so enjoying. I was consistently getting bowled out in 40's or 50's but my last two matches have been really enjoying. One vs Australia in which I played as England and made 180 and the 2nd vs New Zealand in which I played as India and made 160. Both the matches were t20's. The gameplay is excellent, when a top order batsmen stays at the crease, say for 3 overs in a t20 match then it's quite easy to hit boundaries with him. With tail ends, it's not so easy to bat. There are more singles but hardly any boundaries and that is quite realistic. I don't bowl much, I just bat and simulate the other team's innings. Overall, a good effort has been put into this game. :)

@Aditya: Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. You said you didn't really enjoy it the 1st few times you played. Can you think of any way to make the game easier to get in to?

I won't say that there is any need of making the game easier. Maybe, if possible you can add a tutorial kind of thing (like we have in AC09). This will help the people playing the game for the first time to learn the batting controls as well as the bowling controls. If this cannot be done, then I don't think it's a big issue. At the start, this game was a little hard as I was not aware of the controls but then that's the case with every cricket game. At the start, every cricket game is hard but when we play it few more times we start finding it easier. The thing that matters is the gameplay and the gameplay of cricket heroes is really good.

@Aditya: Thanks again :) I'll definitely look into making batting and bowling tutorials. Remember, if you can think of any improvements that can be made, just let me know and I'll see if it can be added.

Here is what I am doing right now...I have completed the middle portion of the body,now face,arms & hands and shoes are left.

Feedback please.

Dude thats good.:thumbs

----------

These controls looks quite easy to me.
A=Front foot
D=Lofted front foot
W=Lofted back foot
S=Back foot
And respective directions(with arrow keys) for respective shots.
Try it out for those who feel current ones are a bit tough.

@ _Nabeel_ : Model looks good.. how many poly count.. mate..

But the 3d models for the game already made... we are now in animation..

@Appu: I guess we already did some animation, the fielder ones which were looking fabulous.

@Nabeel: That model looks really good so far. I'll send you the models that Pradeep did tomorrow morning. I think he did batsman, keeper and fielder models.

@Hitterman: I forgot about the models. Will post them here tomorrow.

@Nabeel: Here's the previous models that were done for the game. Not sure if you want to use them as a reference, but I need something along the same polygon count (low poly).

EDIT: Apologies guys, I need to take this model down. If you would like to help animate/texture, please contact appu2146 for details.

@hedger: I think so - I'm going to miss my targets again, but I think I have enough to release. I don't know if referals will be in but I'm going to try to push for that today.
