Even I was having similar problems but it got solved on it's own. :p

Have you tried playing domestic cricket?

Game seems to stop working every time I try to appeal. I'll try it out in different formats and see if that makes a difference.

Error occurred during a day/night OD exhibition match.

Meet, so you want it exactly like Ashes Cricket
:P
Ok then.
Before bowl is bowled-
Left arrow:To move batsman left
Right arrow:To move batsman right

After bowl is bowled-
Cone Controls=
Left arrow:To move cone left
Right arrow:To move cone right
Up arrow:To move cone behind the wickets
Down arrow:To move across the wickets(when its behind the wickets)

Batting controls=
A: Defense
D: Lofted
S: Drive

Foot movements=
Shift: Back foot
Ctrl: Front foot
Space: Down the pitch

To run=
A: Run
D: Return back

@ meet : your Controls opinion is great.

What i suggest it.. a small change..in yours..

Before bowl is bowled :
Left arrow:To move batsman left
Right arrow:To move batsman right

After bowl is bowled :
Cone Controls = (up, down, left and right) arrow keys.

To run :
A: Run
D: Return back

Batting controls :
A: Front Foot Defense ; Q: Back Foot Defense
S: Front Foot Drive ; W: Back Foot Drive

D: Front Foot Lofted ; E: Back Foot Lofted
Holding Lshift and playing the above mentioned will be a down the wicket shot of respective.

Meet : I guess you meant Drive and lofted respectively.
But I would suggest a key for Front foot/Back foot shot just to keep our middle finger busy.Still your control scheme is pretty good too.
Yes mate... edited it now...

Hi everyone,

development is going well - I should have new update ready on Friday. You can check the WiP section in the 1st post for information on what I'm working on at the moment. If you have anything you'd like to see in the game, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

@Meet, hedger & Pradeep: I'm not against copying another game's control scheme, but then it needs to make sense to do so. If there's something about that control scheme that doesn't quite work, let's not copy it directly. Let's rather try to improve on it. I don't have much experience playing cricket games using the cone method, so I'm relying on everyone here to let me know how it should work :)

Cheers
Kurt

I preferred it the old way which is why I'm using the standard method.

And I'm working on the New Zealand teams now, finished Auckland and Cantebury already. I hope I can have them finished by Friday although I don't really care whether you have them in by then. I'm just aiming for a team a night so I should get it done by Thursday.

Hedger, did you do the international teams? 'Cause there seems to be a few players missing who are regular starters, eg Mahmudullah for Bangladesh and Yuvraj Singh for India.
