Cricket Leagues - Feedback and Suggestions

The GPL was different with its grade system, but he's referring to leagues that are pretty much just free-for-all's in terms of the player selection, like GPL and WPL essentially were, which is true because a lot of leagues that get started are like that. Obviously the long-jeopardy that the GPL had was outstanding, and the WPL was one of the pioneering leagues along with like Biggy's APL etc.

This.

I could possibly do that Author, I do have an updated version of the TEST squads, but quick question how do you plan on negating the following:

If Team A scores 550/7 dec
and Team B scores 575 all out.

We could use your system, but dont you think its slightly unfair? A possibility I thought that could solve this issue was that it could be something like average runs per wickets.

I'd love to see you do that. And at the end of the day, cricksim very rarely declares an innings, and if it does so, then fair play to the side that gets past the total. It's the same as the Sobers Declaration - it cost his team the game, but they didn't get any points back :thumbs

Well the problem is balancing it with uni life. I could possibly do it, but I need to know who would be interested as well

I can't balance uni and running the NZPL, hence why it's not running atm. :p

I'd be interested in New Zealand, just like old times with FTP.

I reckon once you get a system going it's pretty easy. I spend an hour per round on the EPL, which is why I won't sim until I have all lineups in.

Agreed with Iridium. It hardly takes any time when you have the basics covered. Template helps immensely. And, simming after all the lineups is also one thing which helps great deal.

For me the most time consuming thing is getting the ratings right. Like you guys say once that's sorted simming the matches doesn't take that long at all. It's just finding the time to get everything up and running though, and since I've only had one "doing nothing" holiday since the start of the year, I just haven't found time to do so. And because in the past I've had two false starts to NZPL seasons and one failed league, I'm pretty happy now to just wait until I'm 99% certain that I can finish the season off.
