No. Canada and the USA have never had Test status. Canada were offered it in the 50s, but turned it down. The USA would have got it before the first world war if the ICC hadn't restricted itself to Commonwealth countries prior to the 60s.

Cricket was born in the north of France and taken across the channel by English soldiers
