Cricket Quiz

The year shouldn't be that hard, I don't want an exact date, just a year and venue, plus how many tests have been played at neutral venues in total.

3 match series between SA and Aus in England, 1912.

Pakistan has played 6 matches at neutral grounds, vs SL, Aus, WI.
India, England, NZ, BD, Zim none
SL, the Pakistan ATC final
WI, the Pakistan series
Aussies, that Pakistan series and the SA (first) series.

Did I leave anyone out?
So I guess roughly 9 matches in all at neutral venues.
I have not looked up womens matches, just in case they have played any at neutral venues.

I'm just checking that we can in fact use external resources to find the answers to these questions. I was getting a little scared at the amount of cricketing knowledge that a few of you seemed to have.

Well you have to have a LIFE too you know... if I knew all that off the top of my head without any homework, then I would not want to live anymore.

I know Ronnie initially said no cheating, but I see this as an open book exam... you cant possibly answer some of these questions without looking it up. For me its an educational thing, I am learning even more about cricket history this way.

I wish we are allowed to answer the questions using the Internet too. See, people log in to Planetcricket.net often and so, we wont know if the answer we are searching for is answered or not until we refresh the page. So, lets have the option of answering questions by searching too. Or else, everyone will not have the same amount of great cricketing knowledge and memory that some you guys as sohumissra says, possesses here

Congratulations!

For the record, the matches between Australia and South Africa in 1912 were played at Old Trafford, Lord's and Trent Bridge.

In 1999, the final of the Asian Test Championship was played at Dhaka, Bangladesh between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

In 2002, Pakistan and West Indies played a 2 Test series at Sharjah.

Later that year, Pakistan and Australia played a 3 Test series, the first match at Colombo, and the last 2 at Sharjah.

Haha well....oops shahid6995 I cannot give you anymore reputation for a correct answer. :D Maybe we should think of some other way to reward correct answers. Or just change the reputation system...just kidding. Let me try and think of a question...aah screw it I'll come up with something tomorrow. :P

Sucks that I can't take away any either. ;)

Here's a question: Who is the South African cricketer who equalled Bradman's record of scoring six back-to-back first-class centuries?

Dude.. I did NOT have to look that up hehehe. Proctor. And in case someone else is wondering, CB Fry did it first. 6 consecutive hundreds I mean.

Ok so who remembers the name of the Pakistani pacer who was missing two fingers in his right hand?

Waqar younis.

This question is for every one exept andre nixon<:

When was The first odi match played?
At what venue Was It played?
In What country was it played?
Who were The two teams?
and who won the match?

looks like pretty simple question isnt it members.
