Well someone has got the player at last. He played into the 50s by the way.

Now which other team is he well known for playing for AT THE SAME TIME AS HE PLAYED FOR MIDDLESEX!

Wrong.

He is well known for having played for this team at the same time as Middlesex. Just read his cricinfo profile. If you get it wrong after reading that, then you need psychological help.

Dude ... I think i know this ...
Dint Denis Compton play for Arsenal as well ?
At last!

The first ever Day/Night cricket match was played in 1950 at Highbury, and it was between Middlesex County Cricket Club and Arsenal Football Club.

I must have asked the hardest question ever!

Your turn now.

Now I come to think of it... Highbury is a football stadium and floodlit football is common- so it was certainly possible for the first Day/Night cricket match to be held in 1950!

1. They are the only father - son pair to have taken a wicket in their first over in One Day internationals .. Name then.
2. What connects Lawrence Rowe and Yaseer Hameed in Test Match cricket ?

Hope am allowed to ask 2 qstns ..

John Edrich?
Isn't it funny when someone gets a question wrong, even after they've been told the answer?

Arsenal played cricket?
It was a one off match.

Football clubs playing cricket isn't that uncommon. Lancashire used to play an annual charity match against Manchester United up until the 80s. I'll see if I dig out a photo of George Best in cricket whites I saw on the net once.
