Cricket Stories

Wasim Jaffer was from the slums.

WTF is with you and your creepy stories of Sachin, none of these things happened..

I've read just about every Sachin related book there is, including Kambli books, and they don't say any of this stuff. :p

I mentioned clearly that it is off topic yet i had to tell you this coz this shows a really naughty side of sachin. As far as googling is concerned. Well, i knew it coz i watched an interview of Vinod Kambli,he was telling the mischiefs which he and sachin used to pull out in the team when they were young.

here is another one,

When sachin was 14, he was staying at a hotel with his school team. There he gently applied some ointment on the eyes of his sleeping friend. That oinyment was meant for body pains only and applying them on eyes cause gives a sensation of burning. Another victim of Sachin

Now tell us the truth, Sachin really did these things? Or are you making up all this crap?

Try to get some interviews of Vinod Kambli, he mentioned these two incidents very clearly during his interview, i dont know where you can get them as i saw interview on Ten Sports a year ago. But believe me it is true, Sachin was very very naughty in the team. When india won 5th ODI against England recently,Indian team was celebrating in dressing room after the match. Aaj Tak shown a video of celebrations. During that yuvi got angry coz raina and pathan gave him a facial with cake. They came running towards the ground with yuvi following them. When yuvi was returning in the dressing room, someone from above gave him a nice bath of cold drinks. Yuvi shouted "kaun sala BC hai"(Who the f is this) then he looked up only to see sachin and quickly appolozised. This video was shown a lot of times by aaj tak, you couldnt have missed this one.

ROFL, these stories are such bollocks. He's like an Indian version of Karl Pilkington, he'll believe anything as long as it's 'interesting'. I don't honestly believe any of those 3 Sachin stories, especially the flooding of Ganguly's hotel room. There'd surely be something on the Internet about that but I found nothing. Utter drivel.

Wow Dhoni's story is actually very interesting. It's amazing to see where he's ended up now.

The Pathan brothers have had it rough too, but I still find it hard to respect Irfan when all he bowls are pies.

Times of India is the largest read English daily in the world. It is the most reputable newspaper in India.

That incident happened in 1991, a pre-internet era.

No it's a crap source. Only the Daily Telegraph and the New York Times are reputable sources.

Yeh, sorry, I forgot that there are no records of any incidents prior to the invention of the Internet, on the internet, and you've posted that, after someone has posted links to back up your stories. =/

Maybe Times of India may be a somewhat refutable source, but that doesn't mean I'm going to necessarily believe it. Strangely enough, not every single story posted in the paper is truth. Russell Brand Live was on last night, and he read a story from one of the English papers which was 100% fabricated, regarding a supposed incident in a Nightclub between Brand and Tamara Beckwith, a woman he's never met. It may be a direct quote from Sachin, but Max Dillon told us it was a story first spilled by some other bloke. I seriously doubt that Sachin would have ruined a hotel room, just for abit of a laugh at Ganguly's expense, it's pretty stupid if it is true.

Well, then daily telegraph would not bother to cover what mischief a 18 year old is pulling in a indian hotel, they have plenty of other stuff to handle. Telegraph may be a respectable paper in uk but it is nothing in India. Similarly Sidney morning Herald is respectable in Australia and Newyork times in USA. These all newspapers are good in covering their local news and a small portion of international news. Thus a incident like tendulkar one might be very significant for Indian newspaper but it might not be of any significance of for Telegraph or Newyork times. Thus they dont cover it. In simple words, a Newspaper is covers its national news deeply,it can only covers very significant foreign news in 2 page international section.

P.S: I read it on daily telegraph website:" What if Ashes 2009". man thats a really funny article. It is definitlely Not the stuff reputable newspaper are made of.
