Cricketing Queries

Okay, another kinda silly query, but what happens if a bowl bounces twice before the batsman played it?

2 bounces is allowed, and if the batsman plays it he can be caught out, it happened to DeVilliers against Bangladesh.

I think that is a dead ball, and if that happens a lot they should probably abandon the match due to the pitch.

  • Just assuming what would happen if a Bird catches the ball in its beak while the ball is going out of the stadium and the bird flies away? Will it be a six or a dead ball??

  • Another Question that what if the ball hit the umpire and goes to the boundary while attempting a run-out?Will it be a boundary?

yeah It will be boundary as overthrows.

What if the batsmen smashes it for 6, and then it falls down a drain?

Dead ball.

No, lost ball and the ball gets replaced.

A dead ball is called generally as something is stopping fair play between the two sides. For example, the ball stopping dead in the track.

Will the batsmen be out bowled if say he smashes a straight drive and it rebounds off the stumps and rolls back down the pitch and hits the stumps?

Also, Is it out caught if the batsmen hits the non-strikers stumps or the umpire on the full and it ricochets to a fieldsmen who catch's it, out or not?
