No it's not a DVD, just a thread. Throughout your period of following cricket what is/are the greatest moment(s) you have ever witnessed? Things that feature in my duration of watching cricket (1997 onwards) are South Africa's 400 run chase, Fred and Lee at Edgbaston, Our victory at Melbourne in 1999, winning the Ashes in 2005, England beating Australia in the first test of the 97 Ashes (first match I ever watched fully) and i'm sure I can think of thousands more.

Mine most undoubtably is Gillespie making 201* for Australia :p I don't much like his skill in bowling, but man, captains dream Night watchmen.

Edgbaston last year. also brian laras 400,montys 1st wicket (when that celebration was new) and any Leicestershire 2020 cup win. KP's reverse sweep 6 and just Stuart broad being called up for england

I'll have to mark down Hoggy's hat-trick as well. It felt absolutley brilliant to watch all of that action unfold live and it's one of many moments that have induced me to stand up shouting "GEDDINTHERE!" and jumping around the living room.

Matt, don't forget about Harmison's 7-for, and also i'd say those magical catches from mainly English players thats been going on over the last few years. Collingwood Vs. Australia comes to mind :p

any of collers cathes. you're thnking thats 4 and then he plucks it out of nowhere

Flintoff's first ever Test match hundred at Christchurch (I think?) and his first 5'fer in the same match where Hoggard got that hat-trick. Both of them showed signs of his coming of age.

The greatest moment i have ever witnessed was when the match between pakistan and india at karachi ended which pakistan lost by 5 runs ind 349 pak 344.
The whole of the stadium got up and started applauding the players.
and fora pakistani crowd to do that to an indian team or other way is unheard of
add to the fact that every team didnt want to play at karachi cos of bombs and terror threats

it may not sound great to non pakistani/indian fans but you just have to be there to witness the emotion of such a great match

My favorite moments since watching cricket... gosh:

1) Warnie bowling a bouncer after Tendulkar (I believe, maybe it was Laxman) tearing him apart
2) India coming from sub-100 for about 5 wickets down to chase down a 300+ score in the Natwest Series final against England (was that 2002?)
3) Kambli breaking down and crying in the 1996 WC match between India and Sri Lanka because India forfeited (not a pleasuring moment, but a memorable one)
4) The Turbanator 2001 Edition
5) India almost winning in Australia, but for Steve Waugh's resilience; including Sehwag's 195 in a couple of sessions.
6) India's 2-1 victory in Pakistan, along with Sehwag's 309.
7) India's 2003 WC campaign--started out ugly but turned out so beautiful!

That's a small list off the top of my head.

That Natwest final was indeed in 2002 Sohum. The first time i've ever shed a tear at England losing an ODI. :(

I agree with the Natwest final from 2002, it was just a great match.

Also Caddick taking four in an over against New Zealand, I think, not totally sure though.

Are you on about the one which included 3 clean bowled's and he was on a hat-trick at one stage? That was the Windies. :)

Yeah, I've just checked and it was the West Indies at home in 2000. It's probably the first time I really enjoyed watching Test Cricket.

Whilst were on that Windies series, I loved Atherton's hundred at The Oval and Corky's innings in that match at Lords.
