hmm this is headed to yet another 'who is the best player' thread, maybe we should make it clear that players coming of maturity in test cricket doesnt mean it was cricket's greatest moments???

perhaps the 434 match? egbaston? bangladesh beating aus?

Tendulkar's 98 against Pakistan, Ponting's 140 at the CWC Finals, Azharuddins' centuries at Lords and Kolkata, and Laxmans' 281 are modern day great innings and moments, for me.

India winning the sharjah cup, in 1998 too was great, and same goes with Australia winning the 1999 WC semi's.
