Modi has told the press "The fans still wanted attacking play but wanted it to last longer. I think this move will please the IPL's loyal fans." He has also decided to start a fresh in terms of players and has given teams their money back. "There will be a new auction with the English players included, and teams will only have 18 players now, 10 Indians and 8 foreigners.
