An excellent victory for us. Our deep batting lineup made sure we don't fall behind the target. Openers started well but couldn't add more. Nadal played a sensible and collected quick runs which kept us above the RR.
Our bowlers were brilliant but leaked some runs in the end otherwise we would be chasing a low score. Nehra was too good.
Overall, C.O players scored runs while experts bowled well. A good start.

What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Chiefs will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. Hurricanes really were on a hiding to nothing. They were never expected to win today against Chiefs and that's exactly how it played out.
