Dale's 90's test league. *England dominant in Pakistan*

Finally gotten around to starting my test league. Be posting results, reports, score cards and the odd video in here.

I'll also throw up some screens of the squads later on today.

1st game is England (me) away to Pakistan on a dry pitch. Won the toss and batting [HASHTAG]#PrayForDale[/HASHTAG].

So far things have not gone well. Had a bit of rain early doors the the Pakistani pacers went hard after that. Some of it was borderline unplayable . Stumbled to 133-6 at tea. A Hussain 50 being the only positive for England.

No hundred for Hussain. Bowled by Afridi on 97... Rest followed pretty quickly after adopting a "swing at everything" approach and we're all out for 227.



Still appears to be some life in the pitch on day 2 though. As you'll see. Mullally has the new ball dancing off the seam.

Reckon I'm just going to have to run Anwar out of partners. He's been immovable!

I haven’t played for a couple of days but I’m having awesome fun in mine...

Well not fun exactly, I’m trying to bowl on a flat deck with medium pacers but you know what I mean...

I'm getting a bit of seam movement so far so it's not been too bad... (see the Mullally dodgy LBW) but I think it's going to die soon

Bowled Pakistan out just after lunch on Day 3. Anwar was the last wicket to fall. Just short of his 150 and picking up the majority of his side's runs.



Everyone vowels alright aside from Rinho who was far to expensive for his solitary wicket


And here is how it stands going into the 2nd innings. All to play for but conscious of time with rain in the air for days 3 and 4

2nd inns off to an ok start. Debut 50 for a young Michael Vaughan. Edged to the keeper the very next ball though.


Think I'm 4 down with a lead of about 170. Ramps and Thorpe at the crease. Both need runs to stay in the side after failures in the 1st innings!
