Seems like CazC30 is in luvvve with Sir Alberts....all the best and a happy new year.

I don't need much time to play this game as it does not deserve it. I have played it before and after the patch for a few hours and the glitches are standing out.

Will spare another couple of hours after the supposed Patch 3....although I don't hold much hope for it.

Happily blissfully married so no, but thanks.

I said mediocre at best and that is for you...for me it's equal to things that I put in the trash. I need to choose my words carefully or I will be banned :)

Interesting. You know what makes your points weaker than overuse of hyperbole? Using words you don't mean.

The difference being the Airlines did not screw up the aircraft because of ulterior motives or plain lack of effort/commonsense and secondly they had the decency to apologize (although it was not their fault).

Do you honestly think that BigAnt have ulterior motives, or lacked effort? A lot of care and love went into the game, and all the things you're complaining about are things that are already in the game in some manner, except the cameras of course, but that's just a fluff complaint.

This is unnecessarily embittered. "Supposed" is such a catty little dig - why is it that the internet so readily robs people of empathy? I'm all for feedback, be it negative or positive, but sly digs like this trying to stir things up... It's not very becoming at all.

For whatever reason something's gone very wrong somewhere: no-one is happy about it and none of it has been done deliberately. No-one has been wronged - Want to stick with it and help fix things? Great. Want to return it and move onwards? Also great.
Casting aspersions at the developer, especially when you know that they come here frequently in order to try and put things right, is just mean and unnecessary.

It's "supposedly" the in-thing to do right now, that's what I feel looking at some of the constant whining here.

To be honest, I'm still in shock this thread is still 'a thing' ...

finally its enjoyable to justifiably criticise somebody who fleeced your money.......especially as they do not even have basic decency to admit their shortfalls.
You have not been "fleeced". You made the voluntary decision to purchase the game, you were not forced to do so, and you could have gathered more info and impressions before buying it. If you have a physical copy then you could recoup most of the money anyway.

I worry for your sanity and finances if three weeks on from purchase, the money spent on this game is having a significant impact on your life to the extent you feel the need to bitch about it constantly pretty much every day. Finding it enjoyable is even more weird... This is just not a behaviour that happens in the real world, but seems common on the internet.

A few weeks ago I had a meal at a restaurant; it was expensive and the food wasn't great, not good value for money at all in my opinion. Do I go back there every day, letting them all know what a shit job they're doing and moaning about how they fleeced my money? No... And neither would you.

It's just a sad act you're putting on because you have the anonymity of the internet.

It's just a bit much when it's probably not the right target. Or, at least, you don't know that for sure.

The publisher is at least as responsible, and probably more. They almost certainly dictated that it should release at that time, they would have had to approve the final build to be released, they would probably have handled the interactions with the platform holders. They are also probably dictating what can and cannot be said by Big Ant publicly.
So criticise, yes, but don't get personal about the development team like you know what's going on behind the scenes.

This is a very refreshing statement from Chief, much appreciated.....as for your other points.....many people here seem to suggest that everything in the game is fine apart from the crashes and mini glitches (see Alberts posts above) and Bigant themselves only talk about fixing logos, downloaded content etc.

Does nobody see the Elephant in the Room? The elephant being Cover Drive, 360 degree Stroke Variation, Leg Glance behind Square, Superhuman Spin Bowler and Keeper, Missing Statistics and a dozen other game breakers.

How could they release a game where more than 50% of the field is inaccessible through proper play among a myriad of other problems, and why have they not uttered a single word acknowledging any of these.....as they have not acknowledged any of these....Patch 3 for me is a 'Supposed' patch 3 which will only fix other minor things like crashes, logos, content etc. (until proven otherwise).

Note: Playstation Store does not offer a refund....I would gladly even exchange this for DBC 14 if possible.

I am not getting personal about anyone. I am not bothered whether it was Bigant or Trublu who messed it up. I dont care about my 60 USD either.....I care about the lack of acknowledgement and owning up to the faults.....I don't even care if they do not fix it as long as they at least come out and admit all the issues and empathize with the customers rather than sitting on the high horse and making excuses.

Which 50% of the field is inaccessible? Have you got some evidence that it's 50%, or is this just more stuff you're making up the exaggerate the point. There are some shots that don't trigger, they're in the game, but they can't be triggered. There is a bug, it'll get fixed, oh well. It's not a game breaker, it's just annoying.

You want to know why BigAnt don't talk much about specific bugs until the fix is ready? Because people like you abuse them constantly if they do. For the record, BigAnt have in some form acknowledged all the issues you've talked about on here. That's not the part you're seemingly annoyed by, it's the fact that it takes them time to actually fix them.

Something went wrong, it'll get fixed. If you want a refund, go ahead, press Sony for one.

This thread now achieves nothing. Varun has alienated the people (Big Ant) who actually have the power to act on the genuine issues mentioned, to the point that I'm sure they just ignore this thread... And now the ramblings and constant complaints are nothing more than pointless cries into an echo chamber to soothe Varun's ego.

No interesting or worthwhile discussion is taking place, no critical thinking... You're just looking like a petulant child.

Ah! 50% of the field/shots not being playable is just annoying....very well said....adds a lot to your credibility.....go read the separate threads on that and also my OP.....and you say they are in the game but just cannot be triggered...wow!

Next we will start accepting racing games where 3 out of 6 gears are in the car but you just cannot select them...hey but they are in the game. Or an open world RPG where you can see half of the world on the map but you cannot actually explore it....wow man....you just opened my eyes...I have been so wrong all along.

Why don't you also compile all the acknowledgements where they have accepted these issues for everyone's enlightenment, but hey....according to you there are no issues. Are there?

You keep saying 50% of the field, and here are suggesting 50% of the shots. This sounds and comes across like a number that someone just made up. Do you have any way of demonstrating that it's 50% of the field or 50% of the shots?

Again, it's been demonstrated that the AI can play shots like cover drives, square cuts and leg glaces, the problem is between the human and the console (i.e. the controls), not in whether the shots are there.

They have acknowledged such, I even recall you whinging at them when they did. I'm not sure I should be doing the legwork for you though. Your posts are becoming lower and lower effort, it would be nice if you actually tried to demonstrate a point you were making, particularly with some pretty extreme statements.

Keep rambling and defending sans logic....maybe there is something in it for you :)
