dbc hacks: fearsome tweak v2.90 +minigame v0.03

funny i'm still enjoying batting but also loving the bowling. i just LOVE that this hack is giving me an all round enjoyable game. finishing long games, playing a series or a whole tour as i am is a joy, almost as much fun as finishing a hole tour.

Yeah don't get me wrong I still love the batting as it is for sure challenging but I'm just so overly excited about the bowling that I just want to keep doing it to see what the outcome is...eventually I want to get around to play the game normally again and not just bowling lol.

As @Dutch said I'd play this for years to come if DBC17 wasn't coming out...also don't hate me for saying this and I don't mean it in a disrespectful way but a small part of me is fearful of DBC17 coming out in case it doesn't nail all the good stuff again and then we're left with similar issues like the ones before this patch...then who knows how long it'll take for franco to fix it lol. But 95% of me is confident B.A are going to do a tremendous job, after all this is all only possible thanks to them....

i wanted to use this to stop the catch at mid off-mid on, unfortunately it seems that once a player is reaching the ball you cant prevent him
to take it. It will need another solution, anyway should be simple. This hack still works, so i decided to upload it, at least can be fun.
Another small problem: the select button on my joypad gets deactivated, not sure why, just use the ESC button instead.

This update wasnt good as i hoped, but i'll try to fix it soon.

when you think the ball is going to be caught at mid off, mid on, press the left stick and the players will not catch it.
Unfortunately you must do it very early or it will not work it seems. Press left stick again and it will work normally.

, to be very frank mate we were not expecting anything and you gave this game a new life line. Whatever you are doing is fantastic and have played over 30 hours the last two weeks just shows how much you have got us back to the game. You just extended the awesomeness of DBC as the game was already near perfect thanks to Big Ant and now you.

I played 33 overs and bowled all of them. The score is 125/4. I think the hack has disabled pause button as when I press nothing happens. To pause the game I have to press escape. For me the balance between batsman and bowler is perfect as in those 33 overs 2 batsman nicked and got bowled, one was run out and one I don't remember. Michael yardy played a good knock of 36 ball 34 when wickets were tumbling and Matt Prior the more senior person guided the team well with 70 odd ball 50. Yardy and Prior had a nice 50 run partnership when the team was in trouble with 3 quick wickets. So overall the new patch seems well balanced. If you can check the pause button issue. The pitch seamed and spinners were not at all effectiv. Ashwin bowled 5 overs for 50 runs. All this on Normal Pressure


Also on pressing left stick, don't find it useful as players just stop fielding. Don't like that but that's my opinion. Again kudos.

Man, I've kept on playing the career mode, v1.00, legend difficulty. Having an absolute ball.

Yesterday, I was having a rough old day - bowling inconsistently, kept going a bit wide and Moeen was hitting me everywhere.

Then managed to string together an over of perfect line-and-length. Last delivery got a perfect edge to second slip...dropped.

I concur that even if DBC17 wasn't coming out I could keep on playing this. FT's taken this from almost the best cricket game ever to the best by MILES.

Love the fact that second slip still tries to grab the ball as it flies of the upper arm and then follows the ball all the way into the hands of first slip......very, very cool!
