while watching the "Branded a Rebel" documentary about the West Indies Rebel Tour to South Africa in 1983, I saw a team photo of the Springboks in List A kit. oddly it was all yellow with 3 blue stripes on one arm.

although I've seen this pic, and the pic of the Aussie rebels in their list A kit I made and posted previously, weirdly all footage I've seen of the tours show the list A matches being played in whites! So who really knows what was going on.

anyway, I've made the springbok list A kit circa 1983, which may or may not ever have been actually worn on the field! Note the hat is entirely a work of fiction.

@asheswonder I've had a quick go this afternoon at the B&H Challenge kits you requested... looking pretty good (ignore the logo, it's the England rebel XI 1990 I was using to check the kit):

some pretty major distortion on the upper stripes on the sleeves, so I need to resolve that. also need to make sure vests etc. are looking right.

not a kit i'd have originally considered making! if you do the squads for these, be sure to tell me your academy username!

cheers. i'm really struggling with the sleeves. none of the base patterns appear to have similar sleeves so it's hard to see what sort of shape might avoid the distortion... will keep trying a few more things.

B&H 1986/87 Perth Challenge Kit.

It's a single template so can be expanded to any team but the original competition was between:

Australia

England

Pakistan

and West Indies

A few issues:
The real world shirts had a difference between the short & long-sleeves:

1) the short sleeve shirt had 4 stripes (in 2nd colour) on the arm, whereas the long sleeve shirt had the same as the front & back: 3 stripes (in 2nd colour) either side of a white band. it's not possible to create this difference on the template, so the long sleeve shirt has 4 stripes above the white band and 3 below.
2) haven't seen any images/footage of the jumpers, so have worked that from the vest which I have seen
3) the logo on the shirts is imprecise, as I've not seen a proper image of it. as far as I have found the logo is a partial cricket ball blocked out by a bit of a sail (there was some weird Americas Cup tie in with this competition).
