Death...

right you know alot, "Allah" means "God" in Arabic...

"God and God don't like people like me, the jerks"

Also I'm not the one to deicide if you will go to hell or queens park, but it's nothing to be happy about ;).

I think he was just trying to keep his view open to all religions not simply Islam.

Being a firm Agnostic of course I'm terrified of death. Part of me wishes i had a religion to use as a safety blanket, however you cannot choose what you believe so I am dreading death.

However there is no point dwelling on it as it will stop me living life. Live a fun life. be a good person (which will also make me feel better about myself and therefore be happier) and if there isn't an afterlife i won't be around to realise it. If there is no reasonable creator would damn a good person

Interesting one this, my view is similar to what Evo said on the first page. I think quite a lot about what happens if there is nothing after life, just nothingness, and its everlasting. It's actually quite difficult to comprehend. It doesn't exactly scare me, I just find the whole concept of it really weird. Life's there to enjoy I guess and if it was so predictable then it would be a little boring I think.

If it was a choice out of being buried and cremated, I'd be cremated every single time. The thought of being buried just puts me off straight away.

All the people in this thread are much braver than me, I cannot think deeply about death without my stomach turning and going several days without sleep.

Are you serious?

It happens. If it does, fine, you won't really know it. What does it mean? Nothing. Sure, it may affect the people around you but what does it mean to you, personally? Nothing. You just wouldn't be there, wouldn't know that you 'died'.

Worst comes to worst you'll have a few hours of pain before death, but it will pass...

I fully understand what it will be like if there is no afterlife, but I still cannot accept that. Call me mentally weak, or whatever, but I just can't do it.

Don't worry manee there are plenty of gin and tonic's in the afterlife.

Yeah, I hope Tupac is really dead...So I can sip on some Hennessy when I go.

I am not scared of Death. The reason I am not scared of death is that it will eventually happen to everyone. What I personally believe is that one day, the Sun will come down so low that eventually no human will be able to survive. Then, "The Day Of Judgment" will come. Everyone will be resurrected and their Good deeds and Bad deeds will balance out. If their good deeds are better than their bad deeds, they will live in Heaven forever. However, if their bad deeds are better than their good deeds then they will live life in Hell.

This is my personal view as I am Muslim this is what I believe in. :)

Well just chill. After you die, you won't know you died. It'll be the same feeling when you sleep - you don't know when you do. Though this time there will be no moment when you wake up and find out that you just woke up.

:)

Life is to be enjoyed WC, go ahead and enjoy it to the full. Live a long and prosperous life and then when you have, its the final judgment into the later life, i'm sure you'll pass in front of your God, just as i hope to gain entry to Heaven from my God :)

I'm not a fan of getting p******, its a bloody waste of an evening with your head down a toilet, i like to get very very tipsy to the point where i can still say what i want to say, do what i want and get home in one piece ;)
