Tupac Dead?

Just because a guy can badly sing a few witty lines means nothing, how do you know he's the one writing them?

Look, my opinion of the man is that he's the lowest scum in Britain, well lowest scum who's in the public eye. He does drugs, drinks way too much and is a general idiot, who just goes through life living off his riches which he doesnt deserve one iota.

1.He's the one writing them. Him and Caral Barat are two of the best songwriters to ever exist.

2.Fair play. I think the same of Emos.

3.Yes how observant, he has done his fair share in the past.

4.He doesn't drink anywhere near as much as you'd like to think.

5.He was in MENSA as Animator has pointed out. They don't let idiots in.

6.Of course he deserves it. He's earned his money from the albums he's made.

7.He's not living off his riches, he's in the studio near enough everyday making more songs.

good points, dont get the second one..

I'd rather be in a room full of wrist slitting emo's than a room full of druggies like him.

Anyways, i've given my view on the man, he isn't a legend, he isn't a role model, he isn't even a singer.

He's scum.

He's a not a legend, but he will be in an albums time. He's not a role model. But you don't have to be a role model to be a legend. Is Shane Warne a legend? Is Ollie Sykes a legend? Is Patrick Stump a legend?

Yes to all cricket fans he could be regarded as a legend.

Patrict Stump has been around 8 years in Fall Out Boy anyways, so no, not a legend, but a dam good leadman.

As i say, this is my last on the topic.

Legend should be someone in every sense, not just change the face of music which I don't think tupac did and if he did he did it for the worse, and Pete Doherty definatly hasn't changed the face of music.

Even if they did which they havn't they were still in all the wrong things hence no legend status for them unless you want to become like them...

PS: Lol I posted this as Annimator was posting his, so this isn't aimed at his post.

So your calling a man who regularly cheated on his wife a legend? Going against your moral code.

I can't see how Tupac is a legend given his vast criminal record and being known for having a temper. Convicted for sexual assault, hardly what legends do is it?

My point is that how people can admire him, when he's a convicted felon and had a history of violence. Doesn't surprise me in his genre though, researching him earlier was shocking, more gun battles than in a war.

That sexual assault wasn't him. He got the blame for what his entourage did to a groupie in a hotel room when he wasn't there. The only time he shot someone (from what I recall...and I have read about everything there is on the man) was when he shot police officers who were racially abusing a young black male. He didn't get convicted over that because he was doing the right thing. He didn't have gun battles - he just got shot numerous times.

In his music genre he is no doubt a legend. Millions of people worldwide know this man is a rap legend. Just because you think that he isn't doesn't mean he isn't.

I haven't really payed much attention to Doherty recently but the fact is anyone who gives up drugs should get some respect for doing one of the toughest things you can ever do. Obviously he should never have started them in the first place but he did but if he's given them up then you might as well show him some respect and the same for any other person that gives them up. They've tried to change their life and have had to do something incredibly difficult in the process.

Pete Doherty is a legend no matter what. But sod off to wanting him as a role model.

For a musician without musical talent he does very well for himself. Ignoring the injecting others with drugs, should be in jail, etc.

Free respect, im gunna start taking drugs just to quit and get respect. No man, woman, cat, dog or grandma doing drugs deserves respect. Niether does he!

Anyone can end up on drugs if they end up going down the wrong path, at the very least when someone quits drugs you shouldn't go round calling them a junkie or druggie or whatever, you wouldn't call someone who gave up drinking an alkie so why should you call him a druggie if he's given it up?

Yeah i would, those who drink too much and are dependant on it are alkies.

No but they still where an alkie, and i doubt he has given up the drugs.
