Deep analysis of the Ashes cricket game

The 5-step Apology Process

..

6. Refund and compensate for your product.

So that's why nobody was refunded.

Also, I don't believe a single person was refunded. People who contacted Steam were only given the option to trade for credits to be spent on another game, were they not?

I believe that no one has received a refund to date, in-store credit after much badgering is the best anyone has achieved.

Steam gave me online credit onto my 'wallet', that can now be used towards purchasing something else.

This effectively puts Steam $20 out of pocket; I don't know what they would do or have done to make up their losses.

They would have deducted $20 from 505's Steam Publisher Account.

They would not have done so for mine.

Because 505 have actually not fulfilled their promise and have not told Steam to refund people.

The "refunds" that are occurring are without 505's consent.

So how does it all go so wrong? I can't accept that when you were making posts on here early last year, that a game that turned out to be what it was could have been on track at that point.

That not only aren't just exaggerations of what's in the game, but things that totally don't exist at all in the delivered product.

Unless you're suggesting that everything you said about the game reflected the state it was in before you left, and then someone came in and broke everything and removed features before November, the disconnect between the game as you described it in the months before the delay, and what it ended up being is too large for me to believe that when you were describing it to us, that you didn't know how terrible it would or could have turned out.

I don't think it'd be asking too much for a personal apology over the delivered result given your degree of involvement in it.

Without trying to be more of shit-stirrer than than Bobby "Poo-Face" Macwilliams in a tumble dryer, these points by Matt are absolutely the core of everything and still haven't been answered. It isnt a question of an apology but an explanation.

I can still kick myself in the groin (via a complicated mirror- and pulley system) for all the times I supported this game and Jamie and others when all the time I have the sense everyone involved knew this thing was broken and wasn't going to work. How on earth do you explain THAT "presentation" at Lords in APRIL or MAY 2013 and the rubbish they come out with in November. It MUST have been known before Jamie Firth left the ship in MAY 2013 what the state of the hull was like.......all the promises about weekly podcasts, showing soon, development blogs, for the fans by the fans............hot air.

This is one of those strange times when the universe seems to pull things all together from out of all the paradoxical infinities there are and you find yourself saying: Captain OZ you are spot on.................

Does anyone have a recording or video of that presentation, that they can upload to YouTube?

Nowhere at present but we can get it uploaded. Doesn't add a great deal that you won't get from the transcript.

Please do :)

I'm lazy so i'd prefer to listen than read.
