...but then I remember @blockerdave and @barmyarmy and instantly feel better about having to wait 12 more hours

from what i have seen elsewhere seems i need to play some game between now and next friday (ha! May 39th, more likely) to make sure my xbox has all updates before i play DBC

I'm actually genuinely stoked that y'all get it a bit early, nice little payoff for all the awesome work you did on the academy. Well deserved, imo. Of course, I'm basically talking to myself as y'all balls deep in bowling balls right now...

@BigAntStudios even the shitty YouTube clips I've seen, the game looks like it's playing really great, aside from the career mode thing, bet you're wrapped with the hype. The dude I spoke with in EB Games today was CRAZY pumped about the game arriving tomorrow, couldn't shut him up about it...

We're really happy with how it's going, yeah the Career Mode issue is a bummer but not a game breaker and we will fix it asap - lets see how much I can lean on the MS & Sony guys to push it through asap.

When you press tens of thousands of disks you always worry that there might be something wrong as it's ok to patch online issues because by definition the player is online, however an offline game-breaking issue is a real problem. So far, so good.

We also know areas for improvement and are noting all that is said, this is not the end of the development as far as we're concerned, I see many a patch and improvement to come.

So an actual first real impression. From 5 minutes in practice mode, spin bowling is SUPER fun and I find pace bowling bloody tough.

Nice to see there's absolutely no bias during that match against TruBlu, with Ross and I as umpire... What am I doing, running to get changed after each over and gettin' behind the stumps? At least I got you PlanetCricket boys covered... fully expect a victory, Matt!

this is not the end of the development as far as we're concerned, I see many a patch and improvement to come.

You've said that a lot, but worth re-quoting for all the new kids dropping by. Not just dumping and running (ala, other cricket titles in the past) is a refreshing attitude from a developer, something that is pretty awesome IMO, it's prolly why most of us who have been on the boards for this 'Journey' aren't bothered by the few niggles showing up as much as others...
