Don Bradman Cricket 14 - first impressions thread

Hi, in all the uproar over the Career mode, I couldn't figure out if @BigAnt and Ross have commented on the AI bowling too much on the Leg side, and too many reverse sweeps. Anything promise on these 2 issues?

First Impression.

It is weird seeing the game on something other than my laptop.

Played my first online match and that turned out to be such a dissapointment because of another sore loser. Avoid this guy : sayedasifulla

He was batting first and his batting was abysmal. I bowled him out for 18 runs. Then his turn to bowl came he started pulling out of runup 3 or 4 times before bowling single ball. That was so annoying but thanks to BA, the system recognised this as an act to cheat and hence first gave me pop up message which to accept my opponents defeat. When i didnt do that and the other guy continued to pull out of run up, system finished the match and gave me a win.

It is worth noting that when i was bowling a few too many wides as I'm yet to come in terms with bowling controls, I got a pop up message that if i continue bowling badly, I'll get a automated defeat.

@MattW can you start a new sticky thread where we can report such sore losers who spoil the online experience. So that others can avoid them in future. I wish BA introduce system similar to Titanfall where cheaters get to play only with cheaters.

Oh how could I forget this, the biggest thing that I hated about the game was batsmans movement its like I'm confined, the Ai teases me by not pushing mid on deep while he delivers on my leg side ffs, I would like to move all the way away from the wickets and thrash him(I have seen Ai move all over the place why can't I?)

Also the fact that I can't check on my players stats when I select them during my line up......

Tried moving the LAS sideways while using the RAS?

I'm happy to hear that. I think people should learn the basics before going online.

this was from let's tango - ps3? when did you order it?

they are still not releasing xbox, though one of their on-line chat guys said to me earlier they hope to have it before the end of today.

in india too, no xbox available.
