The problem is with retailers not rushing to take DB14 than Ross wanting to hold off. AC has had an effect in putting retailers off buying up another cricket title and with the price being a lot lower if it does make it to disk they won't be any more likely to go with DB. Ross has said he wants the game out as much if not more than we do ( he's not anti profit is he? ) the problem now isn't AC or Ross its retailers!!!!!

If he sold to the public we'd have the game, but its not how it works from what I understand! If you really want this game ASAP get in to your local retailers and pester them about this game!

I know price is a factor but I have trouble with the idea that retailers can't wait to stock ashes but aren't so sure about bradman... It stretches credibility

The retailers are stupid, the consumers are stupid...

So Ross has suggested retailers don't want to pay what he wants to charge, but those retailers who have put pre order links for bradman up don't seem to have put them up cheaper than other games.

Does Ross expect to get a better rate for current gen games once next gen is established? Can't see that happening.

More to this...

Moved house 2 months ago and haven't unpacked it.

Is FM worth the purchase? Buy it most years but not got this one yet ... Any good?

Yea I'd say its worth it mate, always think they get better each time, few new features, in my second season and no glaring bugs etc(oh I've got all technical from usin this forum) very realistic, ive been shouting me head iff at 3am cos the chairmans a tight bastard!!! I've been playing manager games since player manager(from the kick off series) and championship manager!! Love em, me Missis hates them although she bought me this years version to stop me pouting over DB14!!!!

maybe ross has many alternate plans in his mind, but he is just confused :spy:spy

I doubt the head of a multi million dollar business is confused, frustrated yes but you don't make that kinda dough being confused on what way to go, when others start to play ball with him we'll get the game.

The assumption are not going to lead as anywhere but to the floor. Ross knows what he is doing and has pretty clear idea when the game needs to enter the market.

There are other factors that needs to taken i.e. Negotiations, production and dispatch are other factors too. The Ashes is a factor too as Trickstar's and 505 games have been unpredictable with their marketing so risk is another factor.

Let us all just wait a little more and surely ross will let us know when he can. Lets give me a bit of relief from all these theories.

Always the cleverest man in the room happy to just make baseless shit up to fill the void.

Sadly I wouldn't put it past Trickstar to release on consoles

Ross please don't do anything special on Friday, take a long weekend off, I'm off to the London punk festival so leave it til Monday!!!

As always, if you can show me something i've made up i'll be happy to retract it.

You have inidicated pretty clearly you were under pressure from retailers to discount and didn't want to. MattW said retailers will be happy to sell AC13 and you thanked his post which is usually your short hand for "here here".

I can appreciate the reluctance to discount a quality product, but find it difficult to imagine it would be easier to strike a better deal for current gen games when next gen is on the market. I find it odd that AC13 was out for pre-order at full price, that the few retailers with DBC14 pre-orders have it full price, but yet you've had - or seem to have had - difficulty striking a price.

I find it bewildering, if the game will be in the UK in 2013 or even early Jan, that there's no amazon pre-order days before Cyber Monday.

You just have NFI about this business. seriously NFI.

I have been almost 100% correct on everything for more than a year and shared it *before*, yes *before*, it happens, not 20-20 hindsight, but you want to tell me I'm wrong on this? Who's got the problem with credibility. Stop just making shit up, it's getting far beyond boring.

I only had to go back one page, FYI I couldn't really give a tinker's what you "have trouble with" or "don't understand". Pure BS:

I'm sure though, Ross, that you can understand the eagerness of the members of this forum to play your game. They were told over a year ago that a new game was coming and it has looked better and better with every bit of information, screenshot and video. So surely you understand people on here being impatient to play. Personally I don't think that's a bad thing, people are desperate to pay money for your product.

And I also understand that this is not the case for everyone. We are members of a cricket gaming forum after all. I'm a 21 year old just out of uni, so I think you might just be better placed to make this call than me.
