Note this was posted after Ross saw the build of Ashes, and knew how bad it could be.

So it can't not be 2013... Can it?

Retreats to bunker.

he has yet not confirmed the release date..... what will you say when it gets released in 2013

I really can't be bothered reading this thread anymore. Each time I come on here there are ten more pages of absolute bullshit that just frustrates the life out of my veins. No doubt that some good conversation goes on but that gets drowned out by wild speculation, random crap-speaking and complete arse-talking that just makes no sense whatsoever.

If the game is releasing in 2013 then I think that decision needs to have been made by the end of this coming week?

This is where I will announce the release date of Don Bradman Cricket 14 - I will edit this post. The game will be here in 2013.

It is still possible.

It is quite amusing how Ross has tried so hard to avoid giving a specific release date to avoid grief for not making it and now he gets grief for his generalised release date comments instead. :p

Been away a couple of days and I come back and its all madness! Ffs get a grip people, we've been told what's going on and why, been shown a rather nice, respectful trailor, which is the prelude to more, we have the CA to play around with, and the top man at the company making the game is in constant communication with us on here, there's absolutely no reason for the barracking and bullshit and it is getting old.grow up or at least stop throwing your dummy out and screaming about it.

I think being so general and then still not keeping to this timescale is likely to cause understandable confusion about the game.

Why say 2013 if you didn't mean it for sure?

He did mean it for sure but then there were unforeseen circumstances. I'm sure he wishes he hadn't said it but that was the original plan.
I happen to believe that 2013 is still the correct strategy but we'll have to wait and see.

Sorry by "mean it for sure" I meant would release for definite regardless of other considerations.

Otherwise you risk being seen as breaking your word.

Thats the issue I had. We were given a general release date which looks very unlikely.
Had people not been led to believe it was releasing very soon back in June then we would not have so many askimg for a release date.

Ross and his cronies just seem to be getting very defensive. If I didn't know any better then going by his snappy replies lately id have thought it was his 'time of the month'

As for those saying we should be grateful to Ross I disagree. He is not doing us a favour. He makes his games to sell and return a profit. He is not being charitable towards us. Go check his comments he doesn't care about PC members as they are only a very small amount of his market. We are dispensable. So why kiss his behind?

If there are unforseen circumtances than no one can do anything, even if you are a top man of a company. Ashes releasing and stinking the market has cause a massive disruption, move on and give the guy some space.

@bockerdave,supershtuffthat,thefonz

Instead of criticizing for the release, we must appreciate the DBC team for the idea of developing dream cricket game. DBC team have already made us fan of them for implementing such an idea and taking cricket games to a new era.
