Don Bradman Cricket 17 First Impressions Thread

Yes this is what I have been mentioning and what everyone has been talking about the same as they have in the current career mode in DBC 17 for all teams.
Not just career mode but all modes every player that plays a match be it career mode tour mode competition mode casual mode should have there stats recorded in DBC 14 you could go into a menu not sure what one as its been awhile where you could select player stats in real world player stats for DBC and a combination of both

Thanks Dutch I agree a bit more options to tailor competitions like world cups being able to assign any teams into what group you like would be awesome and with the round robins I like to play the old Benson and Hedges world series cups of yesteryear I could do in DBC 14 by making a couple of 3 team leagues added to the tour calander but had to do the league table on paper as there was 2 different comps going also with the stats I had to write them all down and then add them up to see who had made the most runs and wickets etc
Ideally I would want to have a multi division system of automatic promotions and relegations

I give up sometimes I really do. The question I asked was a valid one and one meant to be helpful. As part of a beta team giving feedback and checking things I wanted to hear from you and compare that to what has been fixed and whether it has been covered. Thankfully others have given some useful feedback that I can take up.

I'd be happy to give constructive feedback on stats , you can pm me if you if you need more rational opinions :)

Yes that's what we would like.
There is no establishment. This whole them and us and inside and outside is as far as I am concerned an illusion. All of us have faced abuse in the past here and on occassions I given it of which I am not proud but the whole atmosphere of just dumping shit after shit after shit on anything that BA are trying to do is just becoming a poison. We have forgotten the utter utter tripe we were served up with in the past with cricket games and dbc is nowhere near that kind of tripe.
I have been mostly positive, I promise.[DOUBLEPOST=1491894174][/DOUBLEPOST]

It's been mentioned on this thread not rocket science just the stuff mentioned before by.... What's his name, sorry.

@Dutch I too would love to be invovled in helping to shape this into the best cricket game ever it has so much potential you can also pm me if your looking for constuctive feedback on all parts of the game as I have spent thousands of hours playing both DBC games

Agreed. There is flat out nothing wrong with this game at all. This topic should be locked the game is months old so first impressions are over and the game is fantastic.
No one is claiming it to be perfect.
But by mentioning it constantly, it's not going to change anything. We know the fix is coming..

"Going up against the establishment"

It's really not that noble. You're just complaining most of the time. You must have mentioned "Alice bands" about 20 times. "Stats are stats" we get it.. the stats are not working.
Stats will be fixed. There isn't a need to keep going on about it.

This is what stops people collaborating on this forum. It's just a whinge fest. Why keep Fanning the flames?? Stats have been mentioned to death. It's not helping to keep bringig this up.
Being fair I don't complain 'all' the time most of the time I am supportive and positive you really need to read more of my posts than just jump on the banned wagon... No, please do it. Alice Bands is a jibe at those who wish cosmetic changes ahead of the gameplay fixes but then it's easy for you to pick on me...? Do please read before you write about me, I'm not that bad and resent being labelled with the other gang the ones that moan constanly.

Haha sorry if it came across as a personal attack. I'm just sick of all the non constructive feedback on here lately.
Didn't pick you in particular, you were the first one I saw.

As per my PM yep, gutsy but have faults.

I did mention cricket

Cool no problem was getting a little teary and upset but all good have sent a PM to Dutch and snowy but they wont bother replying. I don't mind the critiscm just make sure it's ether constructive or put in a jovial manner but I have over the majority been positive on here.

And now you're playing the victim - the hurt little bunny rabbit. You throw your hands up when you get fairly challenged, and essentially accuse me of giving no useful feedback.

Hot and cold, you are. Please be a little more consistent.

Have you ever watched "2001: A Space Odyssey"? What a great movie. Watch it in the highest definition you can. That movie came out in 1968. Look at the quality, and attention to detail in that film. That was back in 1968. 50 years ago.

And yet here we have a cricket game that doesn't update a batting average properly.

He was trying to help and do something positive. Maybe try the same

The round robin is a good point, added to that it would be great if it were possible to add more than 16 teams in a custom comp....

@MattW ; @HBK619

If at all possible , please try and give us Online Folks more options in setting up games / tournaments .

Currently , I cannot even select the type of Pitch , who is umpiring etc.

Now describing someone as a little bunny rabbit I honestly thought this was about me... Hot and cold, Jesus! You are talking about me, straight down to a tee.

2001 A space Odyessy? Didn't this film have a large budget and one of the best directors ever on the planet. I don't think the budget for DBC17 is that big...? We shall see.[DOUBLEPOST=1491945990][/DOUBLEPOST]

When you have time can you explain to me what this is all about? Because I have no clue...? A sci fi film, bunny rabbits and hot and cold...?
