Well all the right stats were available in DBC 14 I can't really understand how they got removed for DBC 17

You know what you're talking my logic, I got burnt by the foul mouthed ginger for even mentioning this. I mean, why would you leave something out that's fundamental to the game???

I give up sometimes I really do. The question I asked was a valid one and one meant to be helpful. As part of a beta team giving feedback and checking things I wanted to hear from you and compare that to what has been fixed and whether it has been covered. Thankfully others have given some useful feedback that I can take up.

Okay, but cricket stats are cricket stats we all hope they would be in the game but BA in their wisdom took them out sadly, I was abused for mentioning this and I was brand new on this forum. Added to that it dropped on me like a bomb that this site was heavily dominated by men (Oops) in short I was quickly ignored for the mere mention of this omission. Nevermind but statistics are a fundamental staple of the game and should have been I the game from the start. cricket_online has admirably mentioned what stats we would like and we hope to see these implemented in competition and working correctly, not a big ask!

Well being honest he started it, what I said about stats is true my comment was due to the fact they were omitted... I guess going up against the establishment I'm in for a pasting. And for the record I haven't been abusive plenty on here have said far worse and acted like petulant children that includes the developer. It is sad, very sad.

It's really not that noble. You're just complaining most of the time. You must have mentioned "Alice bands" about 20 times. "Stats are stats" we get it.. the stats are not working.
Stats will be fixed. There isn't a need to keep going on about it.

This is what stops people collaborating on this forum. It's just a whinge fest. Why keep Fanning the flames?? Stats have been mentioned to death. It's not helping to keep bringig this up.

I'm hoping they put back the same stats that DBC 14 had like player stats for tours how the tour is going like aus lead test series 2-1 stats for players in competition mode and ongoing stats for all players careers hope this feedback is helpful
Also as you being a beta tester could you please request that the number for the round robins be increased from 2 to 5 or unlimited in the competition designer

I mean, that's just blatantly untrue.

@Dutch is trying to promote some meaningful, on-topic conversation - prompt a bit more information behind what 'full and proper' means. What stats do people want, how should they be displayed, how should they be filtered, do they simply want a replication of DBC14 etc. He wasn't being snarky. He wasn't baiting. He wasn't abusing. He was asking a genuine, on-topic question.

Try contributing something on topic for a change like @cricket_online did.

There is no establishment. This whole them and us and inside and outside is as far as I am concerned an illusion. All of us have faced abuse in the past here and on occassions I given it of which I am not proud but the whole atmosphere of just dumping shit after shit after shit on anything that BA are trying to do is just becoming a poison. We have forgotten the utter utter tripe we were served up with in the past with cricket games and dbc is nowhere near that kind of tripe.

The round robin is a good point, added to that it would be great if it were possible to add more than 16 teams in a custom comp....

But I haven't I have been supportive of the game please read my posts I just don't like the way Ross deports himself on here. I don't like people who just keep mentioning asking for a refund on here write a bloody letter.

At bare minimum I expect stats to be on the same lines as DBC14, i.e., ability to view stats for your career player across multiple formats separately (T20 Domestic, List A, FC, T20I, Odis and Tests). For a batsman I would expect Matches Played, Innings Batted, Not Outs, 50s, 100, HS Score, Average, Strike Rate, No. of 4s, No. of 6s to be tracked at minimum.

The reason I don't play career mode in DBC 17 is that I don't get any satisfaction coz the stats are not tracked and are incorrect. I spent hours poring over my stats in DBC 14. I set targets for myself how much I had to score every series to get the average up to say 48. These stats not being there means there's no point for me to play career mode. I've reverted to playing DBC 14 for my cricket fix so I can see my career player's stats and see how I've improved or regressed over the season.

Yeah I keep mentioning Cricket Coach as it has the best stats tracking ever; the idea of flicking through your matches and reflecting on the ups and downs is such a part of the joy of cricket.

Yes this is what I have been mentioning and what everyone has been talking about the same as they have in the current career mode in DBC 17 for all teams.

Thanks Dutch I agree a bit more options to tailor competitions like world cups being able to assign any teams into what group you like would be awesome and with the round robins I like to play the old Benson and Hedges world series cups of yesteryear I could do in DBC 14 by making a couple of 3 team leagues added to the tour calander but had to do the league table on paper as there was 2 different comps going also with the stats I had to write them all down and then add them up to see who had made the most runs and wickets etc

Agreed. There is flat out nothing wrong with this game at all. This topic should be locked the game is months old so first impressions are over and the game is fantastic.
