I'm sure it's just a tactic on ebay - when stock numbers are low they start flashing up on watch lists and the like trying to push you to order it quickly.

That said, might be too much stock if that's the same number for the Xbox One version.

Probably right. If I recall correctly, and it's been a while so I may be misremembering, I think console games ship in boxes of 45. So stands to reason they're just selling it one box at a time: I would expect that when that last one goes, it will be immediately available again.

EDIT: Thinking about it, I think 360/PS3 came in smaller boxes of 15, but I can't remember how many little boxes were in the bigger boxes. It could have been 3. I dunno: just have the number 45 in my head for some reason.

I wouldn't have thought so. This sort of thing is now, I would say, just part of the retail system. And probably a much more profitable way of doing it as well: normally a retailer will mark up anything from 30%-50% from the wholesale price, so they will be making a much bigger margin selling direct.

For the most obvious differences I suggest playing a match that goes through twilight - so either a T20 or a custom match starting 6pm-ish. Ideally one which forecasts rain - the dynamic weather is much more obvious, but even better in the right conditions. Also, a crumbly and fast wearing pitch would show off the new pitch detail.

Otherwise the game is extremely similar to the videos of the game on PC, so it's not going to be that obvious in a stream, again comparing to PC - over PS3/360 it's obviously a massive difference.

Yes. Noticeably different from PC at times.

My understanding is that a future patch will add the changes to PC, but as of now, they're exclusive to this release.

Cricket Academy on the Xbox One isn't working for me either.

It says "You need to update to the latest version of the game to access the sharing server."

I press the "OK" button to proceed, but nothing happens.

I installed the game 15 minutes ago and there was no prompt for an update, so I figure I have the latest version.

I might try hard resetting my Xbox and see if that forces an update.

Looks like you struck gold, this sounds promising. Could it be the latest patch without any official word, starting to think maybe not.
