Well you can't say he didn't deserve to be, his form of late hasn't been to flash and he's not the youngest batsmen going around.

He was wasted in his youth and given an oppertunity way to late.

Sucks to see him getting axed, he was one of my favourite Pakistan players.

I don't get why they're dropping him from T20s though. I know he's old and all,but still he is a good player in T20s and also has a really good average in that format.

Yea, he's was a really good talent.

Too bad, he was chosen to play for Pakistan late in his career.

As zMario has already said Misbah was given a chance when he was younger, but he failed to make the most of his opportunities. Between 2001 and 2003 he played five test matches and only just scored over 100 runs in all five games.

Well good to see he's not being a sook about being dropped and he's doing what he can to get back. In fact scoring runs is just about the only way to get back into the national team and that 153* so far is good start. I wish him the best of luck.

I thought the Champions trophy was going to be his turning point after his warm up form but he fell away in the first game and lost his spot after that.
