@MaD:Will these rating points affect our performance in the main tournament? I mean Is there any connection between rating points and our ratings in the sim.

Son of a! Anyway onto the match...

Aoun and Muttahhar got DC to an average start as New Zealand were goin pretty slow but it was McLovin who got tonked in his 2 overs. Andrew and Jono took a few wickets and Varun and Arjind were unable to effectively bowl the death overs. Ryder kept ridin the whole way through and then Elliot kept it goin on with Taylor with a massive partnership of 155!

Aidan tried to get em off to a good start but was unsuccessful along with McLovin who was faaaar too slow. Riz wasted a couple of balls and Rahuls attempts weren't enough as Styris struck for the third time. Andrew attempted to anchor the innings, bringing down the run rate in the process and Brendon failed to perform when he was required. Varun failed as Arjind and Muttahhar gave their final attempts but ran outta time.

So another unfortunate loss for the stars but that's okay...

Our bowling was unable to contain them properly, which is a problem for us due to having no pace bowlers to bowl at the death. Andrew and Arjind tried to get us to a respectable score but we still fell 61 runs behind.

We got some early wickets in mccullum and watling, but then we got smashed and couldn't capitalize on the early wickets.

im blaming some serious jetlag for my performance but yeah we should be able to beat the netherlands fairly easily.

The all-rounders are batting very low because we only have two specialist bowlers, and I'm giving one of them a break today. Also I'm playing lots of the batsman because they don't have as much points as the others.
