Edge bug solution?

This is regarding the bug where some people get lots of edges while some don't get any.

I was looking through the new config editor released by prakash ans I noticed that Colin's new list file lists a couple of hidden screens.
these were obviously put in the game to make debuggin and testing easy and were later disabled.
the debug options screen and the bowl editor screens ahve interesting options.
one that caught my eye was a toggle switch that says edges on/off
I tried linking this bowl editor screen to the wagon wheel button in the hope of accessing it. on selecting the wagon wheel option the game just crahsed.
if someone can figure a way to access that screen there are other interesting options that can be edited like bowling zones etc.
Any ideas anyone......

Yeah, I've tried to activate all the hidden screens but they seem to be incomplete as they are causing the game to freeze. I think Das_Vicky might be the man to have a go as he was activating the screens for international season, challenges etc.
