That's cool, when I was in year 8 I learnt maths and science and stuff like that. I guess things are different in Victoria.

I'm sorry, but LOL much!? What sort of courses are those!? Don't tell me these are the courses offered (electives or not) everywhere in Australia.

:rtfl

My school/college whatever, starts tomorrow, even though I think I failed my French promotion test, I'm gonne begg the International section of the school, to let me get in next year. I'll work hard like a geek and never some to this website.

Final words, Education is overrated, Knowledge is underrated.

yea in yr 10 you pick 2 (photography - photoshop and modern history for me)
That's quite weird as well picking only 2 and such specific things. We have to do history here and we don't have any subjects that specific (photography-photoshop)

In year 9 and 10 at my school you pick 4 subjects each semester as well as the core ones you have to do (English, Maths, Science, History etc).

Here you make your Options at the end of Year 9, to do when you are in Year 10 and 11. English, Maths, Science, Personal Social Health Education and Religious Education are compulsory. I picked Media Studies, Business & Communications Systems, Geography and German. Those are your GCSE subjects.

Next month I will be starting the sixth form, which was my choice, I didn't have to do it, I could have left education and gone into work. This will be Year 12.
