England in Australia

Okay you can have a Hayden and an opinion but you can't just bring your stupid bias into every discussion. We will be talking about something and then you will decide that 'Hayden is the best' suddenly so just lose your bias and learn how to discuss. Zreh corrected me? your an idiot. you do realise that you were argueing that Hayden was the greatest opening batsman of all time (lol) and he was argueing that Tendulkar was the best even though he isnt an opening batsman, You are just pathetic wdfu. I'm not even going to bother argueing with you anymore because nothing gets through to you, grow up and learn how to discuss without saying your favourite player is the best/

I laugh at you're "pathetic" and "idiot" comments. How original, much like all of your posts.

In you're post you said "for arguement sake" so I stated I wouldn't because that'd be stupid. I said I'd want to be him over this era, not because he is THE best (Though he'd be right up there) but because like evertonfan said, his bullying tactics & talents of the bowlers were simply second to none. I love them, it was an excellent plot.

Anyways, I best shut up now before someone comes on here and bans me. Though, I wouldn't be supprised if I saw a reply from you anytime soon.

Wow, Hayden can hit boundaries he should be captain and rated #1 in the world. You can like a player but to bring him up randomly in a serious discussion just sum up you bias.

Show some respect wdfu, you obviously don't realise what I have done in the past and you show no respect what so ever to people who have made planetcricket what it is today. Unfortunely they don't ban you for being an idiot ( lucky you ) so you're going to find another way.

Can't you lot have a sensible discussion and respect opinions?

I have no problem having a discussion or an arguement about a particular topic but I felt he unprovokingly so had a go at me.

I don't have a problem with your discussion but it irriates me when you bring Hayden into the discussion because he is your favourite player

If I were Australia I'd stick with the 4 bowlers, it's worked for so long why change it?

My Aus team would be:

Hayden
Langer
Ponting
Martyn
Hussey
Clarke
Gilly
Warne
Lee
Johnson
McGrath

Tough choice for 3rd seamer but he's impressed me.

Ive got my own views on the Australia squad, even tho im English :D

Hayden
Langer
Ponting
Hussey
Martyn
Clarke
Gilly
Hogg
Warne
Lee
Mcgrath

Id go with the 2 seamers, Warne and Hogg who can also bat :D

My England squad would be;

Trescothick
Strauss
Cook
Bell
KP
Flintoff
Read
Plunkett (undecided on the third bowler, either Plunkett Mahmood or even Blackwell :D )
Hoggard
Harmison
Panesar

unfortunely hoggy isnt going to get another shot i would go

Langer
Hayden
Ponting
Martyn
Hussey
Watson
Gilchrist
Lee
Warne
Mcgill
Mcgrath

I think the Australian selectors might look for a pace bowling option a little too much. I mean MacGill if he plays will gets wickets and we normally struggle against Spin so much, that it would be the best choice. The only thing is that if MacGill plays then Watson will as they'll want a first change bowler. Watson would solve the problem at Number 6 though and surely with Warne and Lee capable of decent knocks, they can afford to take a risk on one batting spot. I'm not sure about Hayden, but there is no one else, so he'd be in by default. This leaves me with a team of:

Langer
Hayden
Ponting
Martyn
Hussey
Gilchrist
Watson
Warne
Lee
MacGill
McGrath

MacGill won't play in the first test thats a given. I would play both Watson and Johnson for sure...and i just pray that McGrath gets his friggin act together soon. Instead of naming targets in the media and performing in fashion parades how about the old fella works a little harder in the nets?

great to see you changing the team that i already posted ;)
Indeed, I must have assumed that 'McGill' was some state player seeing as you spelt it so incorrectly.
