England In India - October 2011/12

Swann and Bhajji both has been disappointing so far. I guess pitches are to blame for.
At least in this game, they've lost their usual roles. Usually spinners have the advantage that the batting side is trying to bat a long time and not overcommit. Instead, they've been brought on late after the quicks have done the damage, when the teams are looking to make quick runs. I often think that teams get a bit lost against lower order batting because they aren't prepared to switch to one-day mode. A lot of Test bowling is about convincing the batsmen to play, but when they need no convincing the fielding side needs to consider the potential effect and adjust accordingly.

That was nasty. If I recollect he was the one who had a broken rib cage?

I wouldn't agree fully...if the batsman is willing to throw the bat at you, surely that should be a bowler's dream. Just be patient and wait for them to throw their wicket away with a bad shot.

Good short one there from Ishant.

Wow what fight going on between Ravi and Naseer :p

It's not a fight, it's just them responding to idiot troll fans. They shouldn't be listening to such fans, sigh.

This is utter disgrace, on national TV they fight like cats and dogs :p

Now Harsha will add up some oil in the flame :(

----------

Hussain says he has earned a right to voice his opinion on cricket after 96 Tests, and that's what Star Cricket is paying him. Shastri says India too has a right to not trust the technology if they don't trust it. Hussain says he would have said the same even if it was Zimbabwe, and where does the jealousy come in. Shastri says he was referring to the British press when he spoke of the jealousy. Super stuff between the two

Meh it's stupid. There is hardly any proper cricket discussion in commentary while Ravi and Harsha are there.

I like Wasim, Dada, Warne. Holding, Lloyd. Gavaskar is okay too.

As a fan I want these guys to shut up. How can I voice my concerns? No avenue to do for a paying customer :D

We need to talk about this match now :spy.

They are building the lead slowly and steadily. I hope we pick a wicket before the lead crosses 50 runs.

If India lose the series 4-0 :p then the position will reverse. Was just trying some predictor stuff

:lol:lol Saurav says People tweet as they have no work to do. This is really steaming up.
