England In India - October 2011/12

Sorry, didn't realise you could predict the future? How come you aren't making millions?

Sorry, I don't really predict future but if Anderson is there in last over having to make 11 runs with Finn at non striker end, I will surely predict it. And I can make some money if not millions but I would have surely predict that India could have easily win the match.

----------

Is a whitewash when you lose every single game, or don't manage to win any?

There is still a game left if you have forgotten and it will call whitewash only if England win all 5 matches. Which can't happen as first match was no result and this match is a tie.

If you really mean this, then I'm afraid you're someone who doesn't know what Cricket is. It takes just one shot (miss hit or whatever) to bring the game back at this stage.

Just like they won every other game in this series, right?

Anderson averages 6 in ODI's and Finn has one of 17, so if they batted to their averages England would have won easily. Anyway, you're still rubbish and still cant win a game, so no problems here.

It is impossible!

What did you mean by this than?

We will see that in the last game and of course when your rubbish team come to India.

No, that's not the case. It is India's bowling which is superb. And, the batsman is Anderson who can't even bat. How can someone in such a case score 11 runs from 6 balls? It is impossible!

By looking at this, I don't think anyone can believe you said that in sarcastic way.

Full marks to User there, it was sarcastic indeed. Stop embarrassing yourself sp232426. At the end of the day, even MSD is more than happy with the tie.

Everybody is just dwelling on the fact that India hasn't won a game all tour, because it's just an easy excuse so that you basically put a brick wall up and not accept the truth. The fact is that the ODI series scoreline doesn't show how close the ODI series has been. India were in control of the first game before rain hit. England won the second one comfortably. Rain influenced the result of a very close third game and this game was a tie. Yes, India were outclassed in the test series but the ODI series has been a completely different story.

If England win against India at Cardiff, they move to fourth place, sending the latter down to fifth.

And in my previously stated stats, I forgot to add the recently concluded WI-IND series where India managed to win all 3 formats of that tour. So as of now, only four times has a side won all 3 formats of a single tour:

1. Australia against Pakistan, Dec 09 - Feb 10: Tests 3-0, T20 1-0 & ODIs 5-0
2. England against Pakistan, July - Sep 2010: Tests 3-1, T20s 2-0 & ODIs 3-2
3. India against West Indies, June - July 2011: T20 1-0, ODIs 3-2 & Tests 1-0
4. England against India, July - Sep 2011: Tests 4-0, T20 1-0 & ODIs* 2-0
