England In India - October 2011/12

They declare giving Indians one session and Rain pours down.

I think we will have a good fighting contest in 1st test. I dont think we will miss Sehwag.

My lineup for the 1st test will be

Gambhir
Mukund
Dravid
Tendulkar
Laxman
Raina
Dhoni
Harbhajan
Ishant
Praveen
Zaheer.

Dont think Sree will play

----------

Also the Lords test is going to be 2000th test and that has to be very special.

I think mine looks exactly similar like this, if you have noticed on the last page. :D

Wow!! Did not know that.

Good start so far by India 5 overs 24 for 0

I still remember the comment made by Strauss when he said "We can beat India and day of the week." i would be laughing really hard if England loses even one match because then it will go against his statement therefore changing it to "We can beat India any day of the week except TODAY." one thing i see in this practice match is that some of these players in Somerset side seem more talented than some of those bloakers playing in England XI which include Pieterson and the master of six 6s, Stuart Broad. Also, you England supporters have the right to be over excited because this is the only time for you to be as you are playing at home and might be able to win the series 1-0 as you have the home advantage but as soon as you go play away series, you lose them 5-0 as happened in India.

FFS it was Darren Gough, not Strauss! I'm pretty sure I corrected you earlier.

Never knew the 2010-11 Ashes series played in Australia was 'home' to England.

Oh lord, we have just failed in one innings. There are 8 more batting Innings to come and we will see who bats better and who bowls. This series is going on till September so hell of a series

I think it was Michael Vaughan who said that after England won the ashes. And yes Somerset surely has talented player like Charl Willoughby.
Just imagine if Somerset had put their first eleven out.

Well idk maybe the hammering order will reverse. Instead of India's position right now, it will be Somerset.

Yeah I accept it was Darren Gough and not Strauss but the point come down to the same reasoning.

Never knew the 2010-11 Ashes series played in Australia was 'home' to England.

Dude no one actually cares about the Ashes accept England and Australia. Get over with your Ashes win because that is the win that is making the whole England side over confident. As important the Ashes series is for you, equally India vs Pakistan match is for us and we beat Pakistan in the semi-finals of the WC 2011 so now what we do? We should write articles declaring our supermacy in World Cricket saying we can beat any team anywhere and any day of the week JUST because we beat our rivals. This makes sense to me. :rolleyes

Here are some scorecards to show you of The Great England's performance when playing away matches: Enjoy!!!!!

Firstly, I'll give you credit for winning the Ashes so you don't cry about winning the Ashes all the time. Yes you won it and you can beat any team and day of the week, is that ok? or you wanna say something else? Ashes tests are over, and shall we go on and look at something else now?

England won by 67 runs! ooohhhh Impressiveeeeee!

ENG vs NETH- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433562.html

ENG vs IND- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433568.html

Match Tied! shame that after a good batting performance, they crash after 40th over and can't win a match which they had already won 95% of it. Shows how talented England side is because only they can lose a match that is already 95% won.

ENG vs IRE- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433572.html

Ireland won by 3 wickets! hahahaha England looks even more talented that I thought!

ENG vs SA- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433579.html

England won by 6 runs! Now this is truly impressive! I mean it!

ENG vs BAN- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433585.html

Bangladesh won by 2 wickets! England sure is talented!

ENG vs WI- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433593.html

England won by 18 runs! A good win!!

ENG vs SL- http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc_cricket_worldcup2011/engine/match/433603.html

Sri Lanka won by 10 wickets with 63 balls remaining!!! Another good performence from England comes to an end!

These are England's rescent performences in their matches away from home. They are really impressive, 5 wins in their 15 matches. I got more to say on this fantastic team but I don't know how to say it. Lets keep this much for now and I will add more later on.

It was you who posted this, wasn't it?

but as soon as you go play away series, you lose them 5-0 as happened in India.

The mention of the Ashes series was merely to remind you that England are a pretty good away side as well. They drew 1-1 at South Africa like India, beat Australia 3-1 - all away from home! Understood it now tube light?

You surely wanna look at their record in sub-Continent or I would say just India.

Don't ignore all those scorecards I posted. They show how good the England side is. I don't have to say a word to prove it because they prove it with their own performence. but some nugget heads like you fail to read the scorecard just like England FAIL to win. And again I say, think of something else accept Ashes!!!!!
