I mean, his captaincy is defensive, but he's taken that to extremes here. And normally he can fall back on the fact that the bowlers are bowling rubbish, not much he can do. But here in this situation, geez maybe try a pep talk and get them some confidence? Don't ditch the attacking fields when a few shots hit the fence.

Even in the first test, Mukund has not been himself and has tried to be flashy, attractive and all that exemplifies Sehwag. How much ever he says that he cannot replace Sehwag, pretty sure that his words dont match his actions.

I can see the English bowlers being an absolute nightmare in these conditions. I think whilst 220 isn't an amazing score, it's more than a competitive score with these bowls on this pitch in these conditions.

No he didn't. Way I remember it Mukund just batted normally, picked off loose bowling well.

But this was a stupid shot. Very stupid shot. Thanks Mukund, that was the start we needed.

We are scoring 450 and that's for sure. I know Mukund has not played the best of shots but give himm chance he will learn. Atleast he has a better attitude then Vijay who just thinks its the bat that turned and got his wicket.

I have a feeling Yuvi play good this test. If we bat out the whole day tomorrow we are the favorites. Hoping not to lose this opportunity as England won't give this kind of performance again and again.

Ganguly spoke about how disappointed he was with Dhoni's decision to bat second. Now he must be thinking, Dhoni should have chosen to bat third or fourth (if there was such an option). Even Sehwag or Gambhir will struggle in these conditions.
