England In India - October 2011/12

Yeah. They even want to strip him off captaincy. I don't understand what a captain can do when he's got all those injuries and the shittest of the bowling attacks. He even tried to bowl himself, you know.
True. Even Ponting cant win a game with a attack as shitty as India had during that series:p

That is what the truth, had the fans been selectors, the team would have a new 15 man-squad every tour.

Flat track bully: Some definition please? Because I really don't know its synonym.

Someone who scores runs in perfect conditions to do so. So therefore, the opposite would be someone who scores runs when the going is tough, but doesn't score them when they should really cash in with big scores.

Eg. Raina can't score a run when the ball moves, or the team is under the cosh. Well he can, but it is a matter of time before his swings either miss or edge something.

KP - Up against teams he should be smashing 100's against, he'll get out. However stick him in SA against a hostile opposition, 100. In Australia when your team have lost wickets - 100. Against McGrath and Warne - 100. 20-20 World Cup - Runs.

Etc...

Cheers. Thanks for the info.

So, India gets their fans back on track eh?:p

Well When Ball Starts Spinning little how much difference that makes

For Answer - Contact england Batsman

England were unlucky, it didn't rain.

I really dislike Raina. He represents everything that's bad about cricket. He is the epitome of smash it and see. Absolutely no character, and no bottle when the chips are down. Just another slow-track bully who slogs. Give me a De Villiers or Amla, or Dravid every day of the week.
At the same time, his technique allows him to be a much better ODI player than someone like Alistair Cook (maybe not the best example since he's starting to score runs quickly in ODIs). In his conditions, he's amazing.

Can call him a specialist. You don't have to pick him when conditions are tough. So what ? Why does someone NEED to be good in all conditions ?

Haha where are the home lions now? This is the true England team. Lions at home and crap away. This is not even the full Indian side playing. This is only 30% of the actual side and killing England. Now England should realize it as soon as possible that they suck and come out of their day dreaming. They need to accept that the rank one they hold right now is just their luck as they have been playing home matches. If it had been the opposite then they wouldn't even be 5th in rankings. Good luck in India because you really need it!!

Seriously, you're attacking a team about their away form one match after your team didn't win a match on tour against said team?

Yeah, you outplayed us. Congrats. But that post is hilarious.

Nice to have a batting collapse again, it's been too long.

Yippee! Great victory for India, Young players are emerging good.
Hope India play well in away games.

IMO, Cook is a very decent ODI player. It was the slow batting of Trott which caused Cook to take more risks. Otherwise he was easily scoring more than run a ball.
They badly missed Bell on this track.

It was more the way he didn't even seem to try at times in the Tests. Took no responsibilty for his wicket. It's one thing to swing a bat in an arc for 30 overs and rely on your eyes. Obviously, he is a good ODI player (providing the ball isn't swinging or seaming) but I just hate the complete lack of determination and fight he showed. Even someone like KP battled and battled to get that 200 when his team and country needed him too.
