I know English fast bowlers getting injured is quite the meme, but even by English standards this is incredible.

I also enjoy how all of these younger fast bowlers who are The Future™ are stuck in the treatment bin, while Broad and Anderson who are considered to be a Fitness Risk™ are still both fully fit into a ripe old age

Would've bee funniest if they had said "we're moving on from them" when the West Indies series started.

Overton leading the attack this summer with a load of rookies.

Of course, aside from the test team, this will probably mean Tom Dernbach Dinda Curran will continue playing in limited overs team.

I really think it's a case of Leach hasn't done so poorly he deserves to be dropped. So, if they play a spinner do they want Parkinson sat around carrying drinks when he could playing championship or T20 Blast.

I'm unimpressed with Bairstow being at the IPL and coming back in at 5 when Brook is going to be left out because of it. I just think that sends a rubbish message as a team.

The Pope at 3 business is a bit of a curious one as well, but I'll happily wait and see how that goes.

I think I would rather see Brook tried at three than Pope right now. Based on his frankly ridiculous form and the fact that he's not had 30 Tests to show he's a cardboard cutout against anything that resembles spin
