Been really impressed with England over the last three matches. Felt like the ruthlessness that defined the 2019 side was back. Contributions from all angles and from players with something to prove.

Root and Bairstow could use some runs, but they're proven quality.

Malan has to start ahead of Roy, unless Roy plays v Ireland and bangs out a couple of centuries.

I would take Malan’s assuredness and consistency over Roy’s ability to provide quick starts or that game changing knock. A fifty plus score in every second ODI is nuts and he’s also demonstrated an ability to play in very spin friendly conditions with that Mirpur century.

I’d ask Bairstow to go ham in the powerplay instead and have Stokes play a role similar to what Morgan did in 2019 as a middle order hitter first and foremost.

England bowling well or Ireland gave away wickets easily... can't understand at the moment...
