England tour of Pakistan - 7 T20Is, 3 Tests

Asif and Babar should open from now on :p (joking)

Yorkers, can’t play scoops. They’re prohibited.
Length balls, can’t time them. Or advance and york yourself.
Make 50 in the Powerplay, gotta be careful and play slower and keep wickets in hand. Asif comes in when there’s only 5 balls left.
90s cricket alive and well.
Asif coming in and smashing a couple like you'd want from a number 8 or 9

Asif just bought his IU form and smashed Reece Topley.

The primitive thinking is astonishing. Didn’t attack Rashid after a strong Powerplay. Let the run rate go down and pressure on middle order up.
Willey, Stone and Topley bowled slower ones and yorkers only, couldn’t pick one. Couldn’t scoop a yorker.
Could not even get out if they were struggling.
Didn’t send Asif or Khushdil earlier when the innings needed impetus.
Sack Saqlain before the World Cup please.

Do you think it's pitches that play a part? Like UAE/Pakistan pitches, that a lot of Pakistan players will have played on, facing more spin potentially means that scooping is not a shot you need or isn't as viable as it would be on harder pitches when you're facing more seam bowling.

We seriously need to get rid of this defensive approach (Specially Rizwan) Atleast Rizwan should be attacking when others aren't hitting boundaries. And why is Babar still playing Hasnain :facepalm. And just rest Iftikhar and Khushdil for Lahore matches. And send Asif Ali after 15th over.

Coaching change before the last WC didn’t go badly :laughter:

No excuses now to be honest. T20 is global, they should learn to play it more.

This match reminds me of the Super 4 game against Sri Lanka. Outstanding start to the defence of a subpar total, but one bad over killed their confidence and they couldn’t punch back.
