Seems odd to have not at least tried Faheem while the ball has reversed.
But Babar is the best batter so he must be captain

(Though to be completely honest there's no obvious choice to replace him with. Possibly Shakeel tbh - he's seemed very aware of the match situation whenever he's doing anything)

Captained Sindh for the first time this season - they won the National T20 and played the Quaid E Azam Trophy final.

Shakeel didn't play the final, he was with the national squad by that point.

Has anyone realized that the career stats of Azhar Ali and Cheteshwar Pujara look very similar yet Azhar has been ridiculed as a burden to the side while Pujara has been lauded as a hero for recent exploits (including the series in Australia). Has Azhar been a low ranked team bully of late to warrant himself that sort of tantrums? Pretty sure he wouldn't have played this Test had he not announced his retirement.

Azhar has still averaged in the 40s over his last 20-odd Tests. He only averages sub-40 against England and South Africa, and even though most of his runs have come in Asia I don't think any of the criticism has been fair really. If anything, his reputation has suffered from the fact that his home Tests this year have been played on roads, and that has kind of devalued everyone's runs. There's a perception that they can just get anyone in who'll do comparably well to Azhar in these conditions. Which ehhhh... kinda?

Azhar has done absolutely fine though. He's just not as young as Shafique or as pretty as Babar

Stupid shot by Masood.

Leach with a peach of a delivery... and woes for Azhar Ali. Well played Mr. Nice guy... thanks for your service for PAK. You're not alone with ducks in final innings
