This ain't a proper tour so don't expect updates every 2 seconds. I've started playing as England from 2004 onwards. I've started with the West Indies in England.
England close in on victory
England are close to victory in the first Natwest test match against the West Indies. After bowling the Windies out for 220 in the first innings here at Lords. England then looked like making a mammoth first innings total when Marcus Trescothick and debutant Andrew Strauss piled on 113 for the first wicket. However when Strauss was bowled and robbed of what would've been a magnificent century on debut the game changed. Vaughan was bowled for a duck and Trescothick out soon after. However Graham Thorpe steadied the ship with Nasser Hussain smashing the West Indian attack everywhere for a whirlwind 36. But it was Freddie Flintoff who took England past the West Indian total and took them to a total of 286. The West Indians were always going to struggle unless Lara fired and he did not. They only left England a modest 118 to chase for victory on a drying track under a hot English sun.
