Colly Strikes Again! The Batsmen Have No Answer
Paul Collingwood is putting the Chairmans XI's tail enders to shame with a great spell of swing bowling, he is changing up his pace well and the batsmen are really struggling. England have been known to make early inroads but to then dwindle off and let the batsmen get a second wind. Not this time! The ruthless bowlers haven't let up and the effort has paid off. Collingwood has only bowled 4 overs, he has already claimed 3 wickets and he will probrably be wanting the last two wickets himself to complete an excellent 5 for. Gareth Batty is bowling at the other end, causing quite a few problems so Collingwood may have to settle for just the 3 or maybe 4 wickets, either way its a great performance!

Batty And Collingwood Wrap Up Innings
Paul Collingwood capped of a great performance with another wicket that contributed towards the swift downfall of the Chairman's XI innings. It wasnt a solo performance however, Steve Harmison and Gareth Batty were in the wickets allongside Andrew Flintoff. The fielding was also top notch and everyone played there part. The only person to make a substancial contribution towards what is an abismal total was Hewson who ended on 51 not out. He played a gutsy innings and remained composed when wickets were tumbling all around him, he hammered 4 four's and the rest in one's, two's and three's. England struggled to get him out and he finished the match with a good strike rate considering the situation.
Paul Collingwood once again showed what a good thinking bowler he is, he had been bowling mid range medium pace for the majority of his spell, in his final over he bowled towards the top range for four balls and then snuck a slower ball in at a driveable length and outisde off stump, the four previous dot ball must have had an effect on Hawne as he went for the expansive drive and was into the shot far too early, he only suceeded in lofting a shot to Gareth Batty in the covers.
Collingwood returned the favour when fielding at short fine leg for what would have been Greth Batty's penultimate over. Batty troubled the number 11 with two arm balls, then an off spinner, then an arm ball, then a quicker off spinner that jumped out of the pitch. The last batsmen in the order played a tentative sweep and top edged it, it looked to be falling short and probrably would have had it been any other fielder having any other game, but Paul Collingwood could do not wrong. I wouldnt be surprised if we saw him opening and making a hundred in Englands innings the way his night is going. The Chairmans XI were finally bowled out for 158 and failed to uitilise 13 overs.

Hewsons Heroics
Without Hewson's contribution the Chairman's XI total would have been laughable. As it stands, if they take a few early wickets then England could be pressurised and may struggle to the target. Below we highlight the scoring areas to a good little knock. He scored runs all round the wicket, the majority being stright back past the bowler which is what you look for when bulding an innings, a straight bat. There are no runs through the slip cordon but 7 well placed ones just wide of it, Andrew Flintoff only deployed one slip throughout the whole match so that region was safe.
England need to score at a rate of 3.18 per over assuming that they use the full 50 available. They should wrap this one up easilly to be honest, i cant see them losing more than 5 wickets if that, they have a very strong top order, Pietersen comes in at number 3, then Solanki and Flintoff, then Collingwood. If they dismiss those batsmen then they have a chance of winning, or at least saving thier dignity, however, the way the match is paning out they will be luckt to get 3 wickets because England look sharp. Very sharp.
