what are everyone elses thoughts on the hawkeye and overall presentation???

your presentation in this thread (along with every thread you have done) is just amazing. great quality graphics (actually probably the best in game graphic pics i have seen). i wouldnt worry too much about the hawkeye side of things. they look very good but regular posts are more important and your images and text get the story across very well

My prediction: England will collapse and get rolled for 80 :p

Just to echo everyone else's thoughts, keep up the awesome work mate :clap

Strauss And Trescothick Make Early Inroads

Vice Captain Andrew Strauss and Chief Advisor Marcus Trescothick have taken a decent sized chunk out of the Chairman's XI's feeble total. Both have scored at a considerable rate, Andrew Strauss having faced the majority of balls and looking set to go on and complete a brisk half century. Trescothick has also been on top of his game with a few boundaries but it hasnt all been plain sailing for the opening duo as Trescothick played a flashing drive at a ball that nipped away early on, fortunately for him the keeper couldnt get a good bit of glove on it and it ran away for four. The bowlers seem to have no answer to Strauss and Trescothick but they are going to need to find one and fast if they are going to save a match which is fast escaping them already after just 8 overs.

This is an easy victory for England; Good to see Tres murdering this shoddy bowling attack. Great story Harmy.

Thanks for everyones continued support, it really helps when trying to get a story rolling.

No worries Harmy, your story is the best i've seen around here for a while. The graphics are excellent, the writing is superb and the frequency of updates is fantastic. Great work.

Wicketless Bolwers Struggle On

The Chairman's XI bowlers look tired out and down in the dumps as they send down delivery after delivery to be either dispatched to the boundary or cleverly manouvered by two fine opening batsmen. There have been 15 extras which have led to a century opening partnership. Andrew Strauss has reached his 50 with just 3 fours which highlights that quality of this pairs batting, they have found gaps all over the place and manouvered the ball between fielders. His 50 didnt come without incident though as a close LBW appeal was turned down by, adjudjed to be going down leg. Overall this is a truly wonderfull batting performance which, hopefully for England fans, will set the tone for the rest of the tour.

This is turning out to be an easy 10 wicket victory for the lads. Great work again Harmy, this presentation is exceptional.

England Win By 10 Wickets:

Man Of The Match: Paul Collingwood

----

England Steamroll Poor Opposition In Opener

England have completed a 10 wicket win over a hapless Chairman's XI. Andrew Strauss and Marcus Trescothick took apart a lacklustre bolwing attack that only ever looked like taking a wicket once in 25 overs. England bowled well, fielded well and batted well and the Aussies should take note, they mean business! Paul Collingwood collects the man of the match award for cleaning up most of the tail however credit should also be given to Steve Harmison who knocked over three of the top order in quick sucession to get the innings rolling. Trescothick passed 50 on the way to the toal with just two fours, one less than Strauss, it just goes to show, you dont have to smack it around to score at a good rate. The only question to ask is; Can England continue this form into the longer form of the game? We will find out soon enough!

Fantastic performance from England, and fantastic presentation by yourself Harmy. I'm really enjoying this story, keep it up.

Also, I said it'd be a 10 wicket victory didn't I? ;)

My reps thingy doesnt seem to be working... as soon as it does then GrayNicholls, EvertonFan and Treva will recieve reps for guessing the correct result.
